Like a lot of others who replied, it is hard to choose a single figure, but I think my favorite is Bumblebee. I grew up on G1 and always wanted a figure like this.

A close second is Botcon Springer. I love the character and while he's not a triple changer, the new alt mode fits him perfectly, IMO.

I include figs from other lines in with my Classics, but only if they have the right look and blend in well. Anyone else do this? For example, Music Label Soundwave, 2005 Botcon Ironhide, Energon Downshift (Wheeljack), etc. I'd be curious to see what figs everyone else includes....

Kinda off topic here, but I'm going to buy tigerhawk, depth charge, and megatron complete for $40 priority shipped. The guy is also selling mirage for 4 bucks, should I pick him up? The guys not a fake, I've bought other stuff from him tooo, So what do you guys think?

i agree. cliffjumper woulda rocked if they did a simple remold of his head. alas, what you are getting is just another BB repaint.

YES!! GET MIRAGE! Hs is great and very articulated. You'll love to pose him.

Direct replacement. Pop the old head off the ball joint and pop the new one on. Superb, professional looking sculpt. Can't recommend it enough.

I love Classics Mirage. Mainly because he is the most posable in the group.

I also like Bumblebee and Rodimus. Decent articulation with beautiful car modes!

Because of the head. I agree. I was really disappointed Hasbro didn't bother to modify his head sculpt.

Aside from that, my CJ came with a broken arm-door. I had to fix it myself. And the plastic is obviously too cheap compared to his twin Bumblebee. I don't know why. Is it because he was produced later than BB?

Well in my case the fact that I'm UK based and he's only shipping within the US is a bit of a bugbear. I've just signed up over there to message him and see if we can work something out, and I'm pretty sure that I can pick up US$ money orders at a UK post office, although I'll need to check on the specifics of that. A couple of those would be great though. As well as doing Cliffjumper it would give me a bit of incentive to make Tapout and Glyph as well.

A classics Tapout is a GREAT idea actually, I never thought of that one.

If you can't work something out, I'm sure you could just get someone here in the US to buy it for one that is picking up a CJ head already.

I think you should. Many collectors are always looking at how to solve this CJ problem.
