Though the original Ravage does alright.
As for the best of the Alternators, the GT, Mustang and Acura Molds all offer great robot modes. And so does the Scion, once you get past the fact that it is a Scion.

Or if you arent a fan of all the stickers, go for his brother from the same mother Silverstreak!
The Jeep's are also a good mold, Hound is my personal Favourite, although Swindle is alright too.
I dont have a Ford Mustang alternator myself, but most people do seem to love them.

As for my overall favorite, it's Mirage. He's just badass in either mode. Second would be Smokescreen (he's much nicer as a Binaltech though).

very true, but the newer ravage is tits. huge, wonderful tits.
gt mold is superior in my opinion, with the civic mold leaving a desire for more.
but even the subaru mold stood the test of the line.
the dodge ram truck molds are the dissapointment of the series imo.

Jaguar XK Ravage.
I really like Sunstreaker, but his bot modes chest area is kind of messed up.

+1000 ... 2 Excellent molds. I have Rodimus though, not Mirage. Same thing basically.
I also agree that the SRT-10 Ram mold is disappointing. I'm not crazy about Sunstreaker. Both modes are just so-so IMHO. Tracks does look great in both modes, but lacks poseability. If that matters to anyone ...
I'll add Grimlock/Wheeljack to the mix. GREAT!
I have the Wrangler mold(rollbar) He is QUITE awesome as well. He is still in stock @ Hasbro toy shop last time I checked. Only $20. Go for it!. You can also preorder Nemesis Prime at BBTS.

The new Ravage is pretty cool and certainly outside the norm of the line. There just should've been more effort to add flexibility to his hips and shoulders. As it is, he offers very limited, linear posing. Though he does look great in a leaping pose.
I like the Jeep as well, from the waist down he's fine, but the upper torso being hollow and the very outdated arm articulation limit his appeal.

haven't had any problems with my rumble. he can pose just about however. are your legs transformed correctly?

I'm quoting myself because I originally said that Smokescreen is fat when I meant to say that Sunstreaker looks fat.

I don't like the.. mediocre paint application of Sunstreakers diffuser.

I'm trying to, but nemesis Prime is selling over $60 these days. I already had a mental problem with shelling out $45 for camshaft and rodimus.

Then be happy you're collecting Alternators and not Binaltech. $45 is a steal for most of the BT series.

Wheeljack indeed sells for 40 something euro.
But I was able to get my hands on a Red Alert for less than 25..
