Probably a bit of an overstatement...

Personally, I'm glad to see this item come out. I have the original and will probably pass on the redeco, barring some sudden influx of cash and a real need to spend it. But I'm happy that MMC will get a bit more use out of the mold; it was a quality product and a beautiful design, despite a few quibbles. I'm glad to own it. If the occasional repaint will help fund future products of this quality or better, I'm all for it.

I like the original enough. I am concerned with how the shoulders clicked in. I know others had problems with breakage there. The arms transformation was a bit of a pain too. Not real sure I'd get this and I do collect black Prime figures. For what it was and being a smaller third party effort, it was quality. Just not sure I would need this too. If funds allow, I'd like to support this so that maybe they could do a bit better with the next offering. Curious to see what's on tap.

Anyhow, black Knight Morpher would have to be a Nemesis KM. Sure, it's a shameless milking of a mold, but it's become a TF tradition. Perhaps a white and blue Ultra Magus Knight Morpher could also be considered, though :grin:

I picked up the red version on BBTS for $35 bucks loose and complete and I was surprised on how cool it was..Some of the joints were a tad stiff and the shoulder joints were just odd but the detail and the paint apps looked great..I vote nemesis because..well.. why not

I have this figure and there were only 3 issues I had. stiffness made it feel fragile in areas, the panels by his heels stick out and his visor falls off easily. otherwise its a interesting figure but I wont see any purpose in getting a second one. If I were to vote... Id say switch from nemesis to the fallen

They do have a fix for the visor here http://mastermindcreation.blogspot.com/. It's simple but I haven't tried it. That takes care of one issue.

you know nemesis prime repaints are a expected thing now... if this were hasbro material.. wed have a store/convention exclusive limited repaint for sure

I think Nemesis Knight Morpher Commander is fine. If they repaint him again they could make Ultra Magnus with a different mold for the back that could become armor. They can also make a Shattered Glass Knight Morpher. Also with a little retooling they can also make Astrotrain.

Has to be Nemesis. Stealth Prime is just the same character repainted and those are the worst kind of repaints.

I do like the idea of Onyx Prime though. I love when we get new Primes.

I've been waiting forever for the eventual repaint. I was almost thinking that there was not going to be one and ready to bite the bullet and get the regular knight morpher. Phew!! Glad we finally got some kinda news about this. I don't care who it's gonna be, I just didn't want a red choo choo. This repaint, whoever he will be, will be bought on site!!

I voted Dedicated Comrade just to have something different.

what difference is there in him being a good guy or a bad guy or the same guy gone goth?

will the paint apps be different between Nemesis and Special Ops? Will one version have any extras with it that another wouldn't? If not, people are voting for the name on the box. I don't think of a lot of the official TFs I own as the same characters whose names were put on the packaging, so I'm not sure it matters really? Still, I'd go with The Fallen as well.

I'm a lover of Nemesis/Scourge repaints, so even though I'm not lucky enough to own a Hearts of Steel Prime, I vote Nemesis/Scourge all the way!

Unless of course they find a kick-ass Nebulon Prime venture on past-tense Earth story for'im.

well, I have to assume that for legal reasons there's not going to be any faction symbols on him. Unless of course there are any on the normal one? I suppose eyes and other accents may be different, but without knowing I don't see any reason to vote. If they said "Nemesis will have teal paint apps and red eyes" "Spec Ops will have red and blue paint apps and blue eyes" and "the other one will get white and yellow paint and green eyes" (or whatever) then at least we could make an informed decision.
