Not at all. I said there was a diffenrence, and there is. That's all. You agreed. Regardless of how thin it is, as long as there is a line, they will remain separate.megatronus wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:But you understand the difference between the concept of "black lives matter" which is saying simply that you acknowledge that black people's lives have value and shouldn't be discarded through the actions of those who perceive them as less valuable due to their skin color, and BLM which is the actual social justice movement (political or otherwise) that is all over social media and the streets, right? I have a feeling that some people here and elsewhere are misunderstanding when one says s/he doesn't support BLM (the social movement) due to its hypocrisy and "black lives matter" which is the concept of treating blacks as equals. I cannot and will not support a POLITICAL PARTY that have a wacky fringe cult-like ideology.
They're two separate things, but the line is a lot thinner than you seem comfortable admitting.
I agree 100%. I said so in previous posts, all the way back to when this thread started. Black lives matter. Period. I also did point out that the blame for the systemic discrimination against black people should be placed first and foremost on those in charge of building this country's social structure through laws and financial practices, and it starts with this country's founding fathers, and continues all the way to today's government, all 3 branches (legislative, judicial and executive) and all levels of it (federal, state and local). Our civic and social leaders have to set the example of equal treatment by enacting fair laws and fairly enforcing such laws. And that hasn't happened in the entire history of the United States, which is why we are in the situation we are in now. Don't misuderstand, I'm not excusing the actions of regular people who have no power in politics and government. All I'm saying is that if these people (the president, Supreme Court justices, congressmen, senators, governors, mayors, police chiefs, religious leaders, etc.) expect the people to change, they have to lead the way by example.Saying 'black lives matter' implies acknowledgement of the systemic racism that devalues black people as a foundational value of our society, one that stretches back to the founding of the U.S. and still exists today. It's not about a few bad apples.

I know very well where you stand. I just wanted you to make it clear in case others misread your post, that's all.-Kanrabat- wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:But you understand the difference between the concept of "black lives matter" which is saying simply that you acknowledge that black people's lives have value and shouldn't be discarded through the actions of those who perceive them as less valuable due to their skin color, and BLM which is the actual social justice movement (political or otherwise) that is all over social media and the streets, right?.
Of course.
That's literally my point.
Unfortunately, it's been long proven by people's actions that ACTUAL black lives do not matter at all for the movement. So, "BLM" now mean only the cult. The cult who destroyed black neighborhoods with their unrest. The ones who keep pushing black people down when they want to stand up for themselves. The political cult who force white people to literally bend the knee and grovel in apology FOR THINGS THEY NEVER DID IN THEIR LIVES.
As if they really, really want a race war. If they think they will cure "racism" with intimidation, censorship, violence, and indoctrination, they will Pikachu-face gloriously when actual racism get cranked up to 11. And then, some other movement may rise that will make the KKK pale in comparison. People will ask "how did this happen", but deep down, they will know.
This is not the future that I want.

Just a hint: You don't need to be a master cook to tell if a dish taste good.
Get out of the CNN bubble for a minute. Look at reality.
Or submit.
And bend the knee.
But you will never grovel low enough. It will never be enough.
I will respect my fellow humans. I will defend anyone who is in trouble, NO MATTER HIS OR HER COLOR. But I will never, ever bend the knee to a cult. If someone say to be "submit or die" like so many BLM "supporters" do, I'll fight to the bitter end.
But eh, you leftists extremists who only see gender and race first and the person as a distant second are throwing red pills around with reckless abandon. Keep up the good work!

Also, that cult you speak of, and the video you refer too: it's Christianity. I'm not sure why you think anyone was "forced" to "bend the knee."
-Kanrabat- wrote:First, it's you who started your "attack" with race, gender, and political affiliation.
Just for your information, I've been a "liberal" all my life. But "your" left is now so FAR left, that everyone who disagree just a wee bit against anything "your side" say is now "far right".
It's insane.
-Kanrabat- wrote:Also, you wish the video above was "Christianity".
No, it's a new pagan religion that is taking over and it's pretty freaky.
Also, have you seen the video below? It may have been staged. It may be "obviously" just a prank. But I don't think that woman caught on the prank. She may have feared for her life and played along "just in case". Or she may be just a cultist, just happy to obey. No matter the reasons or circumstances, this is deeply disturbing.

If you are arguing with this post, you are arguing with Optimus Prime himself - and everything he stood for.

Dunno if he's "far left", but one thing is sure. He's one massive hypocrite. Marching will do jack-sh!t. He will keep on making a fortune on the back of the black people he pretend to support.
I don't care that he's a Republican. I'll call out a fraud when I see it
-Kanrabat- wrote:Well, BLM is now officially an authoritarian cult. For simply daring to criticize the abuses of the movement and some members to some base principles that are iffy, people are getting beaten up, fired from their job or lose contracts.
This will not "cure racism" at all. It will only exacerbate racial tensions to unbearable levels.
Also, there's that baffling COVID-19 double standard as if BLM alone is immune to lockdowns, social distancing, and the virus itself.
Don't take my word for it.
