rightio, i've finally reached a point where i can't decide who makes the team and who doesn't, let alone what alt's i'll use for who (apart from WLT Blitzwheel) so the link above goes to the photobucket with a fair number of my teams members, have a perusal, and tell me who you think should make the team and if i've got multiple incarnations of that character which version you like best.

if you like, you could also suggest a new child of blitzwing; so far the following names have been floating in my head;

Sturmpanzer

Herzog Zwei
Rotorsturm (so unoriginal)

Also, it may just be because he's a tank, or because he's got Stalker's head (I think at least. I'm not good with heads), but I'd personally enjoy fighting alongside/with Blitzfuhrer (this incarnation http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/T ... fuhrer.jpg ).

The name Sturmblade sounds right to me, not sure why. But I'd go with that one if you're seeking to create further tfs.

Tamz, use the ones based on minicons until you get a few levels then swap the bigger guys in as they level up.

I say, go Pred and run all the way with it. Then Tammuz wouldn't be so short next to all of his teammates.

Plus Panzersturm and Rotorzwolf (Rotorvulf?) have obvious potential beast modes.

I'd love to see a photoshopped Transmetal Wolf Predacon with helicoptor parts.

at some point i was really good with recolouring. i do like this team, except for the lack of Blitzwheel(cos it's just not the same without a white lego tank), and i can't have Kaiserwing, Kaiserfury & and Kaisersturm on the same team, since the latter two are reimaginings of the same guy, both of which are reincarnations of the former. of them Kaisersturm is my favourite so the other too unfortunately get the boot

i'm aslo not sure about sturmbidder or techwing...one's a medic jet, so totally unable to reconcile character and alts, and the other's an accountant.

I'm guessing because it sounds like "panther", which was a model of German tank in WWII.

If it's OK with you, Tammuz, I may take up an old offer to kill off Smokestorm (something you suggested when I asked for Cons for a fic I never got round to writing). I've had another idea for one, with enough stuff floating in my head that I'll likely actually write this one.

For 20 some years I thought it stood for Panther. I always thought the "Panzer" was the most successful edition in a line of tanks with feline names (like I thought I remember the Germans having a Tiger Tank).

Yes, they were, but that's becuse "panzer" means armor, or tank, like Tam said. And yes, there was a Tiger German tank, as well as a Panther.

This must be why I thought Panzer meant Panther.

My dad would probably went on about Panther tanks and German Panzers when I was a little kid, and from then on I assumed the terms were interchangeable.

the german for panther is "panter"

and yes the german WWII tanks where called tigers, in the same way we call F-22 jets raptors and f-15's eagles.

they still call their tank's panzer I beleive, they're most recent tank desighn is the leopard II which is not due to phased out till 2012

and then there's the Gepard(deutsche for cheetah) Flakpanzer, an anti aircraft tank which looks alot like the inspiration for the Energon Bruticus's tank limbs
