I'm totally digging the idea of Orlando b/c well housing would be free for me and can't beat that. Cali would be fun but way too far out of reach for my student budget

It should come out to northern cali. They have baycon and wondercon here so Maybe Botcon can come out and play.... Considering all the high tech started and is still here.... Have it at the santa clara convention center where baycon is. And you can go to Great america which is right next door as well.... That's my two cents sun fun and the beginnings of the tech industry all in one place...

Wherever it ends up being, I hope they announce it soon so I may begin making plans. I fully intend to go to Botcon next year and will make plans for it as far in advance as I possibly can.

please please please make it in Los Angeles! we have a disneyland and universal too! plus we have a six flags, beaches, tons of movie studios that offer tours, theres alos tons of anime and comic shops to find cool swag at, so many tourist sites like hollywood and beverly hills, l.a. has one of the most exciting night lifes around.... L.A. is not only an ideal place for botcon considering the amount of collectors and fans that live here, but its an ideal vacation destination for families and bachelors too, so there more to do during and after botcon!! even if its in the east coast, there are tons, and i mean tons, of fans and collectors who live out here in L.A. who wont be able to make.... at least make it in the west coast somewhere.... but preferably L.A. .
