Cobalt Prime wrote:Yup, as someone wrote earlier in this thread, predictable.
The show was too well done for its own good, and when a tv show in the U.S. gives off the hint of quality, it must therefore die.
Thats ok, we'll get to still see season after season without end of idiocy like Pokemon, though. Garbage sells.
I had an unlikely but nice fantasy that Cartoon Network would pick up the tab for another season like they did with Big O a few years back. I mean, why not? Most of what they show on Adult Swim is the equivalent of someone spitting a hocker on an animation cell, then video taping it running down the cell to the accompaniment of inane, non-sensical dialogue. That or a bunch of live action mental cases jumping around after raiding the clothing department at a San Fransisco Salvation Army. Isn't it about time CN did something worthwhile again?
And what's more, I coulda lived with this a lot better if we had gotten the sheer volume of toys that say, Cybertron or Energon had gotten prior to cancellation so we coulda at least said that it was a good run while it lasted. But instead we're left with a tiny collection of TFA figures and big pile of what coulda been.

Provided of course it leads to a series with a better style of animation, and hell, a more serious attitude.
Did you actually watch the show, or were you on of the many who decided to hate it based on it's look?
Nico wrote:To all you troll who think it sucked, SHUT UP! Go back to your corner WHINING on how it was NOT like G1 because thats all you can do! Yes Animated looked really weird and childish, but I guess it was the point. It was strange but I got over it and enjoyed the show.

I watched every single damn episode and I do not appreciate you assuming i'm some narrow minded idiot who forms an opinion in five mins.
I never liked the animation style, I never liked the look of the toys, yes, some of the stories were good but it was far too immature for my liking, and this is an opinion formed on watching every single episode so yes, my opinion is quite valid thank you.Nico wrote:To all you troll who think it sucked, SHUT UP! Please do not tell other members to shut up just because their opinion differs from yours. And if you feel you're going to get banned for saying something, then perhaps you shouldn't?
What I find funny about your post is that up until you posted, no one had actually said anything about G1. Yours was a completely un-necessary outburst.
So let me say this to all. Here's a reality check, not everyone liked Animated. Some people will be happy it's officially over, others won't. Both sides need to respect each others opinions.

Do I NEED to say something about G1? It always go back to G1 anyway. Me or someone else...what does it change?

Animated didn't tie in with G1.Bumblebeast wrote:I know that the movie-verse isn't everyone's favourite, but if it is cleverly written, they could tie in with G1 as animated did.

And the movies likely won't either.
