Haven't been keen on the last couple years of Botcon sets, but this one's different. The fact that it's Animated AND Stunticons are already plus points on their own for me, so I just might bite this year.

And I know I probably shouldn't, but I find the idea of Drag Strip being made female rather amusing. Just imagine if had been Punch/Counterpunch... :shock:

By the way, can someone remind me how you get these box set at Botcon? I've never actually gone, and I'm hoping to go this year.

Since they're busting out the Arcee mold, would you guys be game for a Paradron Medic figure as a BotCon exclusive? Or I wonder if that's what they'll use for the custom class figure. Hm ...

This isn't Hasbro with a silly repaint for once, this is TFCC.

On the TFCC website it says "sponsored by Hasbro" and Hasbro owns Transformers. The TFCC is a shell company under Hasbro. So it is Hasbro's fault. If it is an official repaint of a Hasbro product by a Hasbro shell company, it's Hasbro's fault.

Ehhhhh, I don't know about this BotCon set. I mean, each figure individually is kinda cool, but they don't form Menasor, so the figures just don't do too much for me.

If TFCC says "No, they don't combine", don't believe them. It's like my conspiracy theory about Hasbro not giving birth to Prime figures. Look where we're at now, pal. They'll figure out a way. They will figure it out... :SMUG:

I actually want a Paradron Medic, Chromia (in baby blue) and Firestar (in orange) in the worst way.

I kinda love it. She looks like the best one yet for the box set. Kinda hoping for Lockdown as Wildrider and Wreck-Gar for Motormaster.

Now, do I order the non-attendee package, or do I wait for the secondary market as it seems these are being attacked by the fan-dom? Think I might get them cheaper that way?

Also find it hilarious that people are upset that Drag Strip got turned female, but it's okay that Red Alert got swapped in the toon.

Dude, its Animated Stunticons. I hated Animated at first, the toon that is, but the figures grew on my cause I bought them for my son and I loved how toon accurate they were. Animated started and ended in a blip. The TFCC is most likely just trying to use molds they can get the rights too while giving an extremely loyal fan base a shot at extending an otherwise dead lineage.

I just hope I can get to Botcon.

Okay, that Wreck-Gar photoshopped into Motormaster was pretty cool. But I'm thinking it might actually be Leader Bulkhead. Truck mode is a cab-over design. I think it could be painted up nice.

Aaaaaannnnnndddd, he's got those notches for the headmaster. Can you say, Menasor head?

Though, this would also be a good argument for Ultra Magnus. I just like Bulkhead's look slightly better than Ultra Magnus for Motormaster.

If the fandom is really down on these, then I might hold out hope to get a set later at a discounted price. I don't quite have the wife's approval for these sorts of prices. I really should go to BotCon once in my life...
