More than likely, especially considering that this is Wings Universe, which retconned this pink bot into being pre-G1 Strika:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:You know, her lack of faction symbols raises an interesting question. Before becoming a Vehicon General in Beast Machines, she was one of the greatest generals of all time next to Obsidian, with her prime directive being the protection of Cybertron. Would that make actually Machine Wars Strika an Autobot, despite her Animated incarnation being a Decepticon?

Alos, judging just from the comments above, it seems that this is the first Botcon toy this year that's gotten majority positive reaction.
This isn't Beast Machines. Strika wouldn't (and shouldn't) have any drones in this version.waaaaghlord wrote:So...... Tank Drones for the 3 pack?

2005 had the Virulent Clones as well.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:This isn't Beast Machines. Strika wouldn't (and shouldn't) have any drones in this version.waaaaghlord wrote:So...... Tank Drones for the 3 pack?
I almost bit my tongue when I wanted to say we actually not get a Troop Builder set this year. I looked over the lists and we had one since 2009:
2009: Sweeps
2010: Sharkticons
2011: Autotroopers
2012: The Borg SG Junkions
Megaplex seems the ideal choice, with one acting like the General much like the Vehicon Generals.

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:GuyIncognito wrote:Wasn't Strike a Beast Machines figure, not Machine Wars?
The club has said to not only do some of the original MW characters, but also add new characters into the mix, hence "Series 2". Besides, technically she's still G1-verse, given her Beast Machines debut and the placement of Machine Wars.
It has been said that this year's botcon set is going to be expanding upon the Machine Wars line, creating new MW versions of non-MW characters. This is Strika in her MW body just as any of the original 12 (barring Hubcap and Megaplex) were the G1 characters in their MW bodies.Megatron Wolf wrote:looks good but shes from beast machines not machine wars, or am i missing something here?

That's if they do those two, that is. Not every old MW figure will get an update, and Strika shows that they're looking to do new characters as well.Manterax Prime wrote:Makes me wonder what molds they'll use for Starscream and Optimus.
