So, since it seems the pirates side of the exclusives seem to roll with Squadron X members... what figures could potentially make those characters? Obviously, if Macabre is to come, Generations Black Shadow comes to mind. But what of the others?
I can see Earthquake being a bulldozer of sorts (basing the prediction on the ever-famous IDW panel), but that's about all I could make out.

Based on the news post regarding Tornado's two log entries, I guess we can forget about all of the pirates sans Cannonball being nothing but Squadron X members since it seems like only Tornado and Ferak got invited to join Cannonball's crew.
Thus, aside from the ones we've already seen, the pirates now seem to be as much an open book as the knights are.

Judging from the log, it seems that Cannonball's boatswain (pronounced "boats-in", ya land lubbers) might be one of the next reveals to come. Speaking of which, what happened to the reveal that was supposed to go down yesterday?
It appears as though these pirates come with a detachment of Marines, as he refers to one of his crew as a Gunnery Sergeant (or "Gunny"), a rank used in the Marine Corps and Army. Since the Marines work very closely with the Navy, it's a safe bet that these guys aren't your average joes.
It also suggests that the troop-builders are these so-called "pirate Marines".

I proposed my "Energon Scorponok into Olin/Under New Management Scorponok" in the actual BotCon thread, I'll propose it here; maybe it'll be Energon Scorponok with Olin as an actual transforming Headmaster in a deco evocative of Black Zarak's appearance in Zone (keeping in line with the pirate theme for this year's baddies)?
