I'm guessing they decided to save that design for BWU Jawbreaker should they decide to make him, and so went with this one to give us more mold diversity.Godzillabot-2 wrote:I'm shocked they didn't use the BH design of Ratchet for Cannonball. I think a super-van with a huge-ass turbine on it's back would've been a more fun design of Cannonball.

Still, I'd rather see a TFP Cannonball then a BW/TFP Jawbreaker figure (Seriously, show only characters are wanted Hasbro)
I really would like to see some other minor characters, like Cannonball, to get the attention for this, because, due to the storyline about Pirates, you can fit any number of characters in there.
I'd like to see maybe a figure made that homages Scylla from BWII. They could probably use TFP Arcee since they're not using BH molds (Those wings from BH would be perfect though...).

So, new game plan; we list all Energon and Classics molds that came with swords. I can't think any right now...
This is where Sabrblade and/or you comes up with a composite list of all molds that come with swords.

I doubt it since that might feel like Fun Pub would be stepping on IDW's toes, dipping into territory that IDW hasn't yet but still very much plans to touch upon. For Fun Pub to do it first would feel unfair to what IDW has been working towards.Godzillabot-2 wrote:I just thought of this, considering the hubbub about MTME, what if the Knights in the boxset are based off of the Knight's of Cybertron? (I can totally see BH Wheeljack as Hot Rod)

And, since this is the Wings Universe, it'll have to be its own thing anyway.
Well, that doesn't mean there won't be a Prime mold in the souvenir sets or attendance freebie. Suppose they were to use the Breakdown mold for another character like Fang or Earthquake? Or if they made an entirely new character out of it.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:I had a thought: if the Club decided to use the Scout size again, what are the chances of them using the Human Alliance Basics? I'd say they'd be perfect to accommodate the organics, if Silas Breakdown isn't an option (well, only one Prime mold for the box set).

That's a good question. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't, but I don't know for certain.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:That wasn't my main inquiry tho: are the HA Basics molds available for the Club to use?

Aren't they now about three years old or something? The Club used Prime Dreadwing for MW Megaplex close to just one year after it came out.Mindmaster wrote:Sabrblade wrote:That's a good question. I like the idea, but I feel that those molds would be too soon to use though. That's just me.

To my knowledge they're available, but in general the club uses basic/scout figures very sparingly as cranking up a limited run of them tends to not be very cost-effective. The first time they've ever done it [since 2007] would be this year's TFSS, and they seem to have mostly done it to get a previously Japanese-exclusive mold and to really knock it out of the park with the Chromedome/Rewind pairing.
So offhand I'd say that while it's theoretically possible they'd probably need a really super idea to go for it.
They probably could if they wanted to. But it's not very likely since they'd cost as much as Deluxes to produce despite their size, and so it'd have to be a pretty compelling reason for them to do so. It's why Rewind's the only Basic/Scout we've gotten in half a decade.

Though, it's probably more than likely that most of the TFs in Cannonball's crew will be former Squadron X members.
