I'm sure they know better than to touch those two molds. That Ironhide mold (and character) is among my least favorite out of the franchise's 30 years. *shudders*

More disturbing is that you went with "Nexus Maximus" instead of "Nexus Prime".
Anything new in Tornado's logs? Who exactly is "Wheel Lock" anyway?

It's safe to say we will at least get one. If lucky the last two reveals will both be Voyagers.

We don't consider that retooling done for Energon significant enough to warrant a new line label. Armada Blurr, Cyclonus, Side Swipe and Hoist vs. Cybertron Blurr, Buzzsaw, Runamuck/Runabout and Longrack on the other hand...
In short, to us, Energon Tidal Wave = Armada Tidal Wave.

BotCon 2014 - David Kaye Announced as Special Guest
Posted by Va'al Thu Mar 27, 2014 2:12 pm
03/27/2014 - Joining us Saturday Night at the Golden Ticket Reception and on Sunday, 6/22 for both a panel and for autographs is the one, the only, Mr. David Kaye! The ONLY actor to have voiced BOTH Optimus Prime and Megatron, David Kaye has been a part of the Transformers franchise for nearly 20 years, having most recently appeared as Hardshell in Transformers: Prime. Don’t miss your chance to meet a true fan favorite at BotCon 2014!
Click the Guests menu link to view his full bio and keep checking back as there is so much more news, toy reveals and show information to be announced!
David’s biggest moment was when he was cast as Predacon Commander Megatron in 1996, in the hugely popular series Beast Wars ("Beasties" in Canada) that would go on to run for three seasons of "the most fun you could ever have!" says David. Thus began an almost twenty year relationship with the "Transformers" franchise, from his role as the Decepticon Megatron from the Armada series, crossing over in 2007 to voice the Heroic Autobot Optimus Prime in "Transformers: Animated", thus becoming the only actor in the history of the franchise to play the lead villain AND the lead hero, to his most recent role as the Insection Hardshell in the award winning series "Transformers: Prime."

slight issue, though...
The ONLY actor to have voiced BOTH Optimus Prime and Megatron
If one wants to get technical, as I do so enjoy doing from time to time, he's not the only, nor even the first, as Garry Chalk voiced G1 Megatron's message recorded on the golden disc back in Beast Wars, and voiced several iterations of Optimus (both Primal and Prime)
Toy reviews on YouTube? Don't mind if I do!
I build model kits on Twitch, too!

Personally, I think the "Knights vs Pirates" theme is about the lamest possible idea they could have come up with for a BotCon set. That's just my own opinion and we all know that I have a low opinion of just about everything these days so this comes as no surprise to anyone. I'm an ass so what do you expect?
Many of you like the idea and that's cool. Whatever floats your boat.
I'm just saying that unless it's a GI JOE crossover or a nod to a G1 Nebulan or Spike, adding a "fleshling" to the line-up, especially a new one, is a recipe for disaster. The fans on here are death towards anything organic being introduced into the world of "Giant f'ing robots!"

On the notion of a GIJoe crossover... I don't think they need to TOUCH that unless it's done 100%. FULL set ... preferably an on-the-shelf line. Joe Autobot vehicles and Cobra Decep vehicles with human figures that fit inside. I wouldn't mind smaller humans (like MASK) to maintain a decent scale. Major characters for each faction matched up with bots and joes.
If there's anything BAPE Prime showed me, it's the fact that a realistically painted camo/navy colored army series of Transformers would be awesome. I'd buy the crap out of that.
But i Digress. (a lot)
My point is — I really don't want a TINY nod to GI Joe.
