And now that I have a red Springer mold, an orange and yellow Springer mold, and of course, the green version, I need a blue, and purple version for the complete rainbow goodness.... Sort of.

He's D-310, released in 1989, his debut was Aug. 1st 1989... and his last appearance was in 2014 as a retool of 2012 Tomahawk. I'm sad to say none of the clues points towards him.

In-fiction only. Fun Pub really likes to make "virtual retools" of characters to tease us and to possibly make them at a future time. I'm still awaiting a G2 Eagle Eye out of Gen. Armada Starscream.

Oh... thought I was going nuts for a second.
If the Club does Blue Bacchus, it has to have the correct head. Other than that, I'll be all over him. Generations Black Shadow needs his mate!

Great now I'm reminded by my great desire to have a toy form of Redwing.
And were never getting that.

I was thinking GN for Generations indicating the mold. HD could be Hunt for the Decepticons (which is easier to abbreviate than "Transformers 2010" and less obvious than Reveal the Shield) which included Special Ops Jazz and a repaint of Classics Bee (and incidentally, Tomahawk). OP could be Overseas Prime for Breakdown. None of these really take the Springer mold into account, but nobody said that those five figures in the clip were all from the box set.

Blue and Gray Springer as Oilmaster's inner bot would work, sword and all. He was (going to be) a Double Pretender which I suppose could be (wrongly) interpreted as a Pretender with two alt modes.

6/28/11 was the release date of DOTM.grimdragon2001 wrote:for the Boss, i think it may be referring to 2011, the Animated year. Some are speculating that it might be the gray Prime Breakdown mold (specifically the Silas Breakdown version) done as a DOTM-inspired version of Megatron.

Megs is a possibility, but Sideswipe was also in DOTM and I'd bet the Voyager mold would be reserved for the Muscle.
I looked up Sideswipe on TF Wiki and his Japanese ID number was 04. 484, 4-84
