BotCon seems unlikely because of the comments above plus Takara Tomy is also currently/recently using the mold for the rerelease in August. Retail seems unlikely because it doesn't combine and that's some premium level paint work.

I'm thinking we'll see all three girls in a box set for SDCC. Don't forget, we had two Transformers box sets last year (movie Dinobots in G1 colors and Knights of Unicron) so doing two Combiner Wars box sets this year isn't a stretch and both would sell well I think.

To avoid confusion with these exclusives and whether they are botcon or not, I created a new thread for them with the new photos martianspygirl showed us. It may be integrated into another thread once we know the context of these figures.

Oh just so everyone knows, there are quote on quote "new" pictures of Diaclone skids from a German website. Most people seem to think they are related to the possible botcon figure buuut, the pictures are in fact a custom painted AOE Rollbar.

Yeah, I'd seen those pics. The color layout is different from the Diaclone Skids we'd seen before.

That's a way of noticing. You could also look at the joints and see where the paint's scrapped off.
