I have found the more places I visit the less I seem to find. Probably just in my head thoughIronhidensh wrote:So, we are doing a family vacation roadtrip, Indiana to North Carolina, driving overnight, because sleeping toddlers are more fun in a car. Anywho, to help keep me awake, I've been stopping at various Wal-Mart's along the way to check out the toy selection. We are currently in West Vergina, outside of Charlseton, at my 10th Wal-Mart.
Man, I have not seen ****. Seriously. The closest thing I've seen to new selection is a RiD Thunderhoof, and a lone TR Scourge.
I am disappointed.
Tyrannacon wrote:William, your Walmart's Transformers section looks like most of the toy section on a good day at my Walmart actually. They cease to keep it stocked well enough. I barely find anything. So I either do my shopping for Transformers and other toys at TRU or Target. I check hope against hope, it's more like that than not though unfortunately.

that may just be a Canadian thing.
Maybe, it's definitely not a down south thing. We used to have one Walmart that I scored a bunch of timely releases at. Well that gravy train has dried up.Ironhidensh wrote:william-james88 wrote:TRU seems to be on top of things lately and they definitely beat Walmart at supply (at least in my area).

Bumblebee21 wrote:thats walmart for ya. the only thing they are good on stocking up on is marvel legends. that is the only place that i have seen 4 Black Panthers.
SureShot18 wrote:So right now my closest Walmart has one Scourge left after their case of Wave 1. So unless the forget they need new stock they *should* get Wave 2. Unless they restock with Wave 1 again. On a less recent product note, this same Walmart has THREE Leader Grimlocks. At FULL PRICE.

Otherwise, target and TRU only have Wheeljacks and Whirls. Nothing new RiD or TR.

My walmarts are terrible. It looks like oly a movie will make them restock some tfs.
Mr Skram wrote:But yeah, I'm putting in a cry vote for all my stores. I've checked Something like 6 Walmarts, 5 Targets, and a Toys R Us every week(sometimes more often than that) and all I've found was Scourge, Blurr, Rewind, and Stripes(latter of which I passed on). I was really hoping to find the other deluxes and a slew of Titanmasters. I'm sure I'll have to buy Fort Max online so not too worried about seeing him in stores.
Just a shame because I was so hyped for the TR hunt and now I'm sorta over it. Trying to price out a good place online to get it all in one fell swoop.

Yeah, thats what I heard happeneind in the US. The only place that did stock him in stores was Costco but I dontk know if that counts. I am waiting for Fort Max to get go costco to buy him.
There is a reason stores dont stock those toys though, they take a lot of shelf space and not alot of people buy them. So they are better off using that space for more RID toys or Generations Voyagers that have a better chance of selling. I preffer to find stuff in stores myself but for big items like Fort Max or Devastator, I find it more pleasant to just have the mailman deliver it to my door
