introducing: some smaller movie bots that tickle my fancy. I've got another to open up too, RotF Scattorshot. And a Breacher on the way. I'm telling you what, these non-movie bots are really good, I'm getting a lot of enjoyment out of them

Recently checked out my War Hammer Bee again to update the paint I had added a few years ago, and it's a really fun figure! While SS-01 and SS-49 are improvements, this mold was a big step forwards for Bumblebees with a new leg transformation (which was pretty major since every deluxe movie Bumblebee until then (with the exception of the AOE Concept Camaro and DOTM Nitro Bees) had more or less the same leg transformation. The chest transformation was updated, the roof of the car folds up in a much more compact way, similar to the MPM, and this was the first deluxe Bumblebee to include Bee's smaller secondary wings. It's not perfect - the chest is very wide and the arms are very thin relative to the rest of the body (both things that SS-49 fixes) - but this is still a solid figure. The shade of yellow on this version is also perfect, it's more of an orangish yellow than standard movie Bumblebees.

I'm still a big fan of that figure. I too got the War Hammer one, I love having a Bee with a hammer

Scooped up some older movie toys from a buddy and from ebay. Got a Battle ops Bumblebee with Dark of the Moon leader Bee's weapon pack when i was expecting a full DotM package, so now I gotta go get a plain DotM leader to pair up with the package. Not sure if this is a win or not yet.

Also got the RotF Leader Starscream, which is absolutely excellent, as well as RotF Jolt, movie 1 Evac, and Chevy Aveo Swerve. Swerve is such a cool robot, very solid. and Evac is a little nostalgia trip for me, I saw him in a store when I was 13, passed on him despite my mom asking if I wanted him, and he's been on the fringes of my mind since. And I finally got him after all this time. And he is really quite cool

That's pretty sweet, I like how they replaced the lil scorponok with a raft/gun.

I like it too, it helps the rescue copter feel. I enjoy this figure, and funny enough i think I might like it more than the original Blackout use

Well, I'll say this for Battle-Ops Bumblebee: He's one of the few toys to include Bee's missile racks.
WANT:
* Cybertron Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Cyb Jetfire R gun and missile
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* DotM Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* ROTF Jetfire R JTFR panel

Yeah... They were a cool extra weapon he popped out, and they've been so neglected. The MPM shamefully left them out (just like MPM Optimus screwed up and only had one gun), and Studio Series has yet to work them in as an incentive accessory... Sigh.
I'd love to see if I can make some integrated versions for Battle Blade Bumblebee.

Also, got my MPM shelf in order, added an extra dude in there since he is technically a MPM mold

Dunno about D-Max, but while I think DotM Leader Bee looks cool... I find his very existence vexing. He's grossly oversize for Bee, and on top of that he took a slot that really ought to have gone to Megatron.

It's the one year anniversay of this thread!
Looking back,I could've used the first movie tagline "Their war,our world",to name this topic,but back then "Bring the rain" was the most relevant movie line I could remember in the moment.
Here are some pics to celebrate!

He's actually pretty fun! I like the robot mode a lot, and the stealth force is pretty fun! He's pretty great all around, and essentially thanks to the ebay seller correcting mistakes, I got both him and Battle Ops Bee for $50. I think they are both proving worth that investment.

So do I. Of course, between the limits of toys, the stupid electronics, and the combination gimmick he ends up having zero integration. But that is still one deliciously long plane.
Not the biggest we've had, that prize goes to Cybertron Supreme-class Starscream, but still.

I think it would be cool to make (possibly transforming) start carts to go with him. And I've been scheming for years about making foldaway axe blades that attach to the handle of his cane.

I've been in the process of moving, So all my figures were boxed up, And I couldn't really contribute to this thread as a result.
But now, I'm baacck!!
The figures are out of the boxes, Slowly being transferred to shelves, So here we go!

Rotf Divebomb!
