This looks great,I'm buying the BTS & the Mastermind version in 2014. It was creative to have the jet transform into a Aircraft carrier. The tank took a pounding so it could form the legs & super jet.

According to the BBTS site Nova Lord is suspose to be released in March 2014.

Can someone email BTS or send him a facebook message. Asking him when this toy will get released. Also ask BTS if they have any updated info like newer pics.

I plan on buying this toy. It looks great in all modes.

I think there are a few Canadian toy conventions in March thru July that have big 3rd party toys Q & A panels. with 3rd party test shots,info & art sketches on display. I'm hoping these conventions will answer my questions.

I'm interested, but cannot say for sure that I'm buying. MMC has teased this, and I think at least one other is out there in concept form, maybe prototype. Pricing and aesthetics are what are going to matter to me.

MMC's Overlord Carnifex will probably get released in 2016. MMC while they make great stuff,takes too long to release toys.

Again, I disagree. While they take some time to release their toys, I am finding that they are well worth the wait. I have been supremely impressed with each figure I have gotten. No other company has produced as high a quality, in my opinion.

Nope. I don' have the funds to play that game. I don't have an eBay account and don't plan on being in that game any time soon either. I won't buy an item when I know I will be buying it's replacement in the near future. I'd rather wait for something high quality, if I know it's coming.

I'm 100% in the Aggie's corner. While I do have an eBay account, and definitely buy/sell frequently, I'm not going to buy something whose aesthetics I'm not particularly fond of when I know something I will definitely like is around the corner. There's enough stuff coming out or in the pipeline to keep me occupied until then. I barely have enough time to fiddle with the figures I do want, let alone those that don't appeal to me.

Hasbro has definitely shown a willingness to release figures that the Club has done in the recent past, so we may very well see an Overlord from them, especially given his prominence in the fiction. We'll see. Now that would be a worthwhile Generations Leader toy!

Just to be clear,I actually do like this BTS Nova lord. I love the sculpt,aesthetics,Size,Gimmicks,colors & play value in all modes.

When I buy BTS Nova lord,I won't be treating it as a place holder until something else comes along. As I think it's the best thing ever created.

I more or less gave the place holder advice to Agamemnon. Due to MMC being so slow in releasing newer products. I figured while he was waiting over Two years for MMC Carnifex,He could be playing with Nova lord for a temp period. It was just a idea advice,I wasn't forcing the toy on him.

If Agamemnon doesn't like place holders that cool. But I do the place holders thing all the time with the HasTak TF toys. I recently did the place holder thing with UT Mania King.

The reasons why I do place holders. Is because i'm sick & tired of waiting Thirty plus years for the ultimage homage character toy to get made. I can't wait anymore years. I figure if I've got to wait more years,I might as well buy & play with a mild mediocre version until the superior versions gets made.

I just don't think HasTak can create a MF Overlord Homage toy the way I want it to get done. I have more faith in 3rd party companies like BTS & MMC,To create a MF Overlord that I'd like.

I think the current HasTak Team doesn't have a clue how to market & create a decent MF Overlord homage toy. At best HasTak would create Two deluxes that combine to form a Voyager scale Overlord toy. I'm surprised HasTak didn't call that 30th Doubledealer repaint Overlord.

I think the best route for HasTak is to create a MP MF Overlord homage toy. Sadly the shift in the smaller scale voyager MP TF cars-bots will have HasTak busy way past 2016.

The classics Generations toy budget seems too small to create a decent MF Overlord homage toy most would say is pure awesome.

I think a leader or supreme scale HasTak MF Overlord homage toy would please most. just package the toy in robot mode in the box. Still have the oversized Duocon gimmick of Two big vehicles that merge to form a big robot. Also include the combined base mode.
