Yeah, the G1 Devastator would be best. Ha!
I would have to go with the Supreme Devastator. I bought it on Amazon for $59.95 earlier this year (probably higher priced now), so maybe pick that up and just go with a Leader Prime, which should be around $100 for both should you find a cheap Devastator.

BUSTER PRIME.
I got Devs for my B-day this year... and he's alright. Fun to play with, but you get bored of his various vehicles not transforming into individual robots, so he stays in Devastator mode. Plus, his hair-trigger sound components get annoying after awhile. He's also a fairly simplistic transformation. Great sculpt, but wasted on missing paint apps.
But Buster Prime is a work of art. If you don't already own the regular Hasbro ROTF Leader Prime, get Buster. My two cents.

Supreme Devastator - It's not the best piece of work out there, but it's still a decent figure. Any combiner that's a Transformers combiner will give you loads of fun. The good thing about getting Devastator over Buster, is that you can get Devastator directly. Since you likely don't reside in Asia, I'm guessing that Devastator will be quicker to get.
Buster Prime - Arguably the better figure. However, it's not that far off from the original Leader Prime. Yes, it's superior, but do the differences warrant a price tag of $50 more? Also, you're going to likely have to order Buster through a second party. Shipping will be alot, and it might end up being more expensive than Devastator.
All in all, pick the figure that you want the most. Regardless of the price, get the figure. If you need both, then heck, save up another $100 later on and get the one you missed out on.

If you haven't gotten a Leader Prime yet, I woul go for the Buster Prime. That figure it just amazing. However, if you can pick up the Devastator figure for a really good price, then that may be the way to go. Like what was said earlier....it really just matters what you want more. Also, saving the money to buy both is a very sound option as well.

I'd get Buster Prime, and wait for Devs to be on clearance next year when Universe 3.0 comes out.

Where are all the people who thought Devastator would be clearanced out by now?
I thought he should be $25 at most or that stores were going to pay you to take them.

I would get Buster hands down, but it all depends on what you want to do with them. If they are just going on display, I whold hold off on Devestator until the legegends size one is released here. I find it way more appealing than the supreme sized one, even if it is way out of scale.
I'd love to get my hands on a Buster Prime, but I don't see that happerning anytime soon.

Sorry, not buying it. Devastator is selling out everywhere now that he's on sale for $80-$90. I don't think you're going to see him for anything less than $60-$65 ever again.

The cheapest I've ever seen Ultimate BB at retail was $68.00 a few months ago at Target, and now he's right back up to his original retail. Unless you count that time when Wal-Mart was accidentally selling him for $35.00, which was fixed before I could get my hands on one.

For what it's worth, I say go with Buster Prime if you haven't got the ROTF Leader Class. Buster OP's got a lot to offer in terms of design and gimmicks, although the chrome kind of worries me. I've got a Buster pre-ordered for second restock, but I keep wondering if I should have passed on this one.
Then again, if the chrome does peel off in a few years, you could always just spray it over with a can of silver.

Buster.
Devastator is just plain fugly, IMO. I don't understand the appeal, but then I've never really been too much of a fan of the Movie aesthetic. Plus it just seems kind of lame and lazy that the individual vehicles don't have bot modes.

I'd go with Devastator, he's better than people give him credit for. I don't know why people are complaining that the vehicles don't have robot modes since they didn't in the movie. Since Devastator most likely won't be in the next movie and Optimus will Buster Prime might come out over here and you can get it cheaper.
