After spending over 3 months as the #1 HMW Transformer, Buzzsaw became the first TF to hit 1,000,000 XP today. Buzzsaw’s achievement marks the culmination of the last of my personal HMW goals:

1. Autocon Death Squad: First Team to 1 Million overall XP
2. Achieving and maintaining Top HMW Commander by experience in post-reset V1 HMW until the end of Version 1.
3. First TF to 1,000,000 individual XP: Buzzsaw. (I wanted it to be Galvatron, but it didn't work out that way, lol)

1. Buzzsaw 1,000,707
2. Shockwave 993,096
3. Supercruise 990,496

Now I can officially slow down my playtime and relax a bit. I’m only a month or so late on my “Stop playing HMW so much” New Year’s resolution, lol. Better late than never I always say.

I would like to pre-congratulate RevengeOfStarscream and his Supercruise who will fill soon fill Buzz's spot. RoS is also a skilled and relentless killer deserving of what will soon become his new position. Remember the old saying: "Be careful what you wish for?" It definately applies to HMW success, lol. My only regret is that you aren't a fellow 'Con. You’ve worked hard and will soon see your goal fulfilled.

Also deserving special mention are Tekka, Conjurous, and Sinister Mentor. I’ve had many admirable challengers for the top High Scores spots, but, these 4 guys were the most persistent and challenging.

I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention the solid direct competition provided by Randal K. Orton (or whatever his name du jour is, lol), KYAC, Max_Prime, neliz, Electron, Name_Violation, and Hoistimus.

If I forgot to mention anybody, I apologize. There are just too many great players to mention.

Why couldn't you just post this in the bragging thread? Every time you "achieve" something doesn't warrant you making a thread to show off.

Thank you GS. You are too kind. You have been a fun challenge. Even when my bot reaches #1, I still will not displace your #1 team score, as I only have six (well...seven) bots.

I owe my success to my iPhone. I am not one of those pretentious iPhone wienies, but it kicks the crap out of my TREO for using the web. I have sat in many a meeting where I obsessively use my iPhone to send my bots on missions and arena battles. If I wake up in the middle of the night to pee, I just reach over to my bed stand, grab my iPhone, and send my bots on a round of missions. It is really quite pathetic. I have always suspected I am obsessive compulsive to a certain degree.

Oh, and I have really pushed my wife's patience to the limit. She absolutely hates it when we go out to dinner or a movie and I take out my iPhone to send my bots on missions. "It will just take a sec dear...".

GS is right. HMW success comes at a price. For those of you who covet such high rankings, you must be prepared to think about the game non-stop. Checking your bots every hour or 30 minutes needs to become the routine for every waking hour of your day (yes, I know, pathetic). I almost dread the release of HMW#2. How much of my time will that consume?

Anyway, it has been fun playing with all of you. I don't participate much on the boards due to the fact I work a lot (and when I am not working I am playing HMW).

As for the obsessive compulsive thing, so so true. It also helps that HMW broke the mold when it generated Denny/Akito/Randy.

Galvatron Supreme, that is a hell of an achievement.

I'll bet you're right, cuz I WON'T be 24/7ing it in HMW2. Once you lay down the pipe, it's best to not pick it up again.

I will be around and playing on both HMW1 and 2 though. Just not as much. As RoS said, wives/gf's eventually lose patience. My GF's exact words: "I don't care how much you play, just as long as it's not when I'm around." Which limits me to roughly 9-5. LOL

Worked wonders for me in my EQ and WoW days since we played those together and we both play this although not with quite the devotion we had in those time sinks.

I personally have no idea how one can devote as much time to the game without collapings like a WOW player in a Honk Kong back alley cybercafe.

But I congratulate you on achiving your goals. If we do figure out some award or HOF for this game I'm sure your position is locked in.

Truely you have been a Decepticon General of Distruction, Now go relax and enjoy your life for a bit.

Congrats GS. You put insane time and effort into the game, and no matter what opinions people have about you or your motives, your position can't be denied!

The fact is that you are #1 in all categories and that is a great accomplishment. So congats on your achivements and I am glad you can start your new years resolutions. Hay V-Day is coming up so give your girl some lovin'

Thought I was bad when I get into it(which probably won't happen again until V2). When at home I'm like that to a degree when its been like 30 min and just have to check their status, unless I get really sidetracked by something. Although luckily nowhere near as bad concerning when away from home. I don't even think about HMW if I'm out.

If lack of places to be occur during V2 I might have to consider switching to one of the big factions to give the others racing for top spot some competition for it.
