Following on from this thread and so it doesnt get buried, can someone please add this to the DECEPTICON command bulletin?

http://seibertron.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24186&sid=

Its something the entire faction should be made aware of.

At the very least, can Mkall ask CB or Siebs to post about it?

While we are on the topic of command lines to be added how about this one:
For 1/4 the cost of a full repair per battle, give the player the option of a lifeline if outnumbered 3+ to 1 in battle. Basically if the battle starts and they are horrifically outnumbered then they would warp out of the fight at the beginning of the battle. Payout to the remaining winning team would be the standard amount as if no one had ever joined.

call it the BOHICA option (for non-military, that's: Bend Over Here It Comes Again)

As long as the option is actually called that, I'm all for it.

It's hilarious.

I say make it twice the repair costs that the bot needs to pay AND the decepticons get a chance to attack it once (per decepticon) and the autobot who chickens out needs to spend no time in the CR. That is how it would be fair.

Not only that, it's totally unrealistic form a roleplay point of view. Decepticons would never let a lone Autobot run away. As warriors, we would expect you not to chicken out of a fight just because the odds are against you.

Oh, wait, Autobots are chicken and run away when the odds are against them. My bad.

What transformers cartoon did you watch as a kid?

I think they probably just recorded Chris Latta screaming "RETREAT!!!" once and then recycled it for the end of every TF and GIJoe episode. :P

I'm sure Starscream did his fair share of calling retreat. Somebody had to do it when Meg's went down for the count. I tried the above link in the first post and it didn't work for me. Said it didn't exist.

That's cause you are a Bot not a Con! I'ved tried those before and did it to me, but my roommate DemonStrike got in just fine. Though he wouldn't tell me what they were about.

Oh waah, "nothing to do with the topic?" Of course not, when his topic is linked to a page that doesnt exist! here's his link http://seibertron.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24186&sid=
and it would be quite realistic, at least for the deceptiwimps, as has been pointed out above.... they seemed to run away alot with their tails tucked between their legs to protect their titanium balls... small as they are

Whatever you like to discuss over in Iacon is your choice; but generally we dont consider comparing the sizes of our balls legitimate conversation in Darkmount.

In the meantime, we will be waiting for you cowards in the missions under the deluded hope that we may actually get some half decent opposition one day...

*sigh* We're never going to get any decent competition while this ridiculous notion that HMW Decepticons are anything like cartoon Decepticons. :-(

ahem ... so ahhh ... any chance of getting the front page updated for this? Some people put a bit of work into it and it is intended for all 'Cons to enjoy. Pwease? <- Look! I asked in a cutesy way! That must count for something!

Are you playing the game as a :CON:? That thread (and the forum its in) can only be accessed by Decepticon players, just as the Decepticons can't access the :BOT:, :MAX:, and :PRED: forums.
If you are a :CON: and still can't see the forum, PM OS.
