I'd take pics of these rare mini-cons tonight, but it seems my man Rikkomba has already done so...a year ago.
Educate yourselves heathens!

(Noise Effect makes me happy in ways that are odd...afterall, I started the day with a speeding ticket and a bad attitude...)

Thanks to Botcon and my now-in-pain-wallet all I'm missing to complete the 10 saber teams are the Kabaya Microns (hopefully shipping), Cybertron Ramjet (I REFUSE to pay $30 for one), and whichever one has the clear sonar (far left in the pic). Not bothering to look for the 11th or 12th one since ver0 wasn't that different from the normal one and you guys say the stormsword wasn't ever licensenced by hasbro (plus almost impossible to get one, let alone a complete set since one was shortpacked)

Energon wrote:It is interesting that you pair up minicons with figures. I have like six Armada Starscreams (and variants) that hold my star sabres, my megatrons hold reqiem blasters, I have so many shields I don't know what to do with them. But I have a whole curio devoted to Armada and another to hold minicons, and other TF's. One can never have too many Starscreams.
Next are the three minicons that cost me the most about $450, they arrived while I was at Botcon, the one on the right matched pretty well with them. I found him at Botcon and this mold is my favorite mold. My favorite all time minicon is Rotor - the green one in my sig with his backpack open so he can sit on his butt.
Counterpunch wrote:Dragoyell is a blue and white repaint of the Clear Skies Team dragon mold.
2000 of them were made and distributed as part of a mail away campaign.
He's difficult to find for no particularly good reason, especially considering his high production numbers for a mini con.

Congrats on the haul, they were on my watch list but I did not bid on them.
rikkomba, I think I already have that wave 4 set. But I am not looking for the dragoyell for myself yet.
Now that I have that destruction team, I finally feel like a real minicon collector. There are still so many that I don't have.

Weren't you looking for the Requiem Blaster? That's Wave 4.
I think you didn't realize what you got: with the SGD team in your possession, you gave your collection a serious boost towards greatness! It's possible to find basically all minicons in a few months, but Dragoyell and the SGD team are the real challenges! Welcome to the club!

I don't know why, but I seem to have an affinity for very rare Transformers.

Counterpunch has this minicon radar, that is how I got the SGD team. He posted the auction on Seibertron. It was a Japanese auction. You could only bid on it in Japan in yen.
Rare transformers are the most fun to collect. Unfortunately mine will have to be returned to the vault for safekeeping.

Yes, the Space Galaxy Destruction team:

I paid 160$ + international shipping for mine in 2006. A very nice item, and a leap of quality for your colleciton. I'd get it, if I were you.

Took me nearly a year to hunt down the last 2 pack to finish it off. And then it was only with Skowl's help that I could do it...

And now Skowl is selling his set, so if anyone is interested, check them out here:

They are hard-to-find little buggers for you guys in the States, I should have picked up more of them when they were flooding the shelves at my local Toys R Us years ago.

I got mine for $130 + $20 shipping from Tempting toys. It had been partially opened I guess to look at Ultra MAgnus (overload). All the other parts were in twisty ties. But it was in prisitine condition,so a worthy purchase in deed.
