GOBOTS?! ROFL!!
I wanted a challenge - Making the Gobots cool is about as challenging as it gets.![]()
Seriously, their biggest handicap was a lack of any style whatsoever, but that I cant even hope to correct.
zorian wrote:Cool, it's your team. Are you going to make use of the fact that Maximals get some vehicles when chooseing alt modes to represent guys who haven't yet gone through with the Minimization ...I mean Maximalzation process?
BTW what's wrong with being a group of freaks and oddballs?
Symbiote Spiderman14 wrote:Everytime I start to write new bios for my team I get interupted and when I go back and read what I wrote I think it's stupid so I start all over again.![]()
Basicaly I trying to tie in why I became a Pred,Tarantulas, and Symbiotes into it all
Dynamax wrote:Now I just need to think of new guys. :lol
I consider them an extension of Datamatrix, though i have considered it. The only one that could work is Syntax, a Laserbeak based character.KAMJIIN wrote:Dynamax wrote:Now I just need to think of new guys. :lol
Why not give a couple of those NPC cassetes some real time action?
Naw..I miht make my own HM or TM though.zorian wrote:Dynamax are you going to make the character a head or target master alt mode? That way you could sort of represent the using cassettes. That is an alt mode class we need headmaster gadgets.
Small Foot
Function: “Reconnaissance”
Primary Weapon: Forearm-Mounted Spike Launcher
Transformation: Four-wheel Drive Pickup Truck
“You have no idea how sick I am of the word ‘destiny’.”
“Into every generation, a Slayer is protoformed. One Transformer in all of the universe, a Chosen One, one with the strength and skill to hunt the unknowns, to stop the spread of their evil ways, to cease their destructive manners, to prevent the end of Cybertron. When one Slayer dies, the next one is called.” – Book of Jossotron, 19:97, in the Covenant of Primus
Unfortunately, during the heated turmoil of the Great War, something unexpected happened. Early in 1981, the contemporary slayer sacrificed herself to defend the Ark as it lay dormant and helpless on Earth; her fate, or the threat she had destroyed, unknown to any. When the next slayer was called though, she was not called on Cybertron. Maybe it was because the last one died off-planet, or maybe the greatest threat to Transformer-kind simply lay elsewhere, but whatever the cause, she was called on the lost colony of Gobotron, in the form of a small Gobot named Small Foot.
To complicate matters further, none of the Slayer’s gifts, save the disturbing visions received during stasis, manifested within her. In spite of her normality, ignorance of her purpose, and diminutive size, she joined the Guardians, Gobotron’s peace-keeping force, in order to protect others. She fought the Renegades with great skill and greater bravery, risking her life many times during the war.
When the war ended she remained loyal to her commander Leader-1, and when Vector Prime called them to Cybertron, she followed. There, in the hallowed halls of Primus, she discovered the truth about her bizarre dreams about alien battles and strange creatures. While Vector Prime occupied her fellow Guardians, Primus himself spoke to the young femme, explained her heritage and her destiny, and activated the latent powers in her spark.
All of this came with an extra burden though – In order to maintain her autonomy, she was not to share her true identity or powers with any of her fellow Guardians, even Leader Prime. She would continue to serve as the Guardians’ reconnaissance specialist, using the long range patrols to search for and destroy the supernatural threats that would persist even under the Guardians’ scanners. Her secret identity would allow her to carry out her duties without the interference of the other Guardains, and would also grant the Guardians an ace up their sleeve if the situation ever truly became so dire.
Strengths: All of Small Foot’s physical abilities exceed those of a normal Cybertronian her size, by a few orders of magnitude, especially her strength and stamina. She is swifter in both forms, and has possibly unparalleled reflexes. Besides being amazingly resilient to damage, her onboard restoration systems can repair even grievous wounds without the aid of a CR chamber. The dreams she experiences while in stasis link her to the wisdom and experiences of all past slayers, and during meditation, with Vector Prime’s guidance, she can tap the same link to learn from them. The dreams also warn her of greater dangers to come, although they are seldom easy to interpret. She possesses a sixth-sense which helps her to identify Unicron-spawn masquerading as Transformers. For ranged weaponry, she has equipped herself with pneumatic launchers that fire silver-coated tungsten spikes, and her standard Gobot hand-mounted energy blasters have been adapted to fire beams of intense sunlight. These beams can also be channeled through her headlights in vehicle mode.
Weaknesses: Primus’s mandate of secrecy means that she seldom has backup when she gets into serious danger. Her role as the Guardians’ scout sometimes conflicts with her loftier calling. She has no physical weaknesses.
Zeemon
Function: Antizombie Warrior
Primary Weapon: Arm-mounted Chainsaw
Transformation: 1985 Firebird Trans Am
“What’s your zombie-plan?”
As ridiculous as it sounds, Zeemon is the Guardians’ resident expert on “zombies”. It might, at first glance, seem like a useless specialization, but in the war against Unicron, his knowledge has several times proven valuable. Many dismissed him as paranoid, delusional, and eccentric at best, but a nasty conflict on Hydrus IV proved that he wasn’t -entirely- bonkers.
Since then, his expertise has helped the Guardians to defeat a horde of sparkless Cybertronians mystically reanimated by the Devourist Necromanix, destroy a small army of shambling homunculi created by the Decepticon Mal Practice, halt the spread of a strange nanovirus cultivated by the Decepticons on Necris VI, and rescue a group of human colonists from a disaster on Mars.
When not actively saving the Guardians from an outbreak or an undead horde, Zeemon prepares for the next inevitable apocalypse of the dammed. He hordes Energon and ammunition, and studies every work on wilderness survival, crowd control, biology, and occultism he can find. While regarded as a loser nut-ball most of the time, when the shambling starts, he quickly becomes the most popular, respected Gobot around.
Strengths: Though reformatted by Primus with a stronger, faster, more resilient super-structure, Zeemon was still only average by Transformer standards – until he began upgrading himself. Now he wields an impressive array of zombie-exterminating weapons and survival implements, including a shoulder-mounted incendiary grenade launcher and a plasma-shell shotgun. His right forearm transforms into a chainsaw, which tears through necrotic armor with ease – though he reserves this for use only when the problem is not of a pathological nature. In the event of such a situation, he also has the ability to activate a set of environmental seals installed throughout his body.
In his alternate-mode, his front bumper transforms into a spinning blade of doom – what he calls his ‘rotter-chopper’. His hands can emit blasts of free chronotrons, which accelerate decomposition of dead tissue, both organic and cybernetic. Zeemon is most importantly a self-educated expert on all major varieties of zombie-ism – be it supernatural, chemical, pathological, technological, or xeno-parasitic in nature – and on the accepted survival and containment protocols associated with each. Zeemon also possesses great ingenuity and creativity.
Weaknesses: Outside of a z-event, Zeemon is shunned by many of his teammates, and it is difficult to motivate him to fight living enemies. During a z-event, he sometimes becomes so self-confident that he makes blunders and mistakes in spite of his careful planning and considerable knowledge. His chronotron emitters drain his power cells quickly when used.
