i personally don't think its lazerbeak. the thing seems to be pretty big, pterodactyl sized and has a long tail..like a pterodactyl...like SWOOP of the dinobots.
However. this could be michael bay being himself and somehow incorporating beast wars into the mix. because from watching it, it does move like a dragon.

Decepticon Warships are always nice... Perhaps we shall get a figure that looks enough like a lazerbeak to be one. Oh, and I'm sure the sound effects and orchestra soundtrack will be sweet.

I agree with buddy.... waiting for that reboot.

I also agree. While the trailer was interesting, I suspect that the movie will suffer from the same short comings as the first two films. I hope to be proven wrong though.

Anyway, in response to the Megan/Rosie thing; I've never liked Fugly Fox and she and Rosie look as bad as each other.

Rosie is entirely wrong I can't even look at her face. I don't know how or why people could find her attractive she's got this weird 12-year-old girl face with gigantor lips. As a woman, it creeps me out. I prefer Megan Foxyyy (only in the first movie) because she was drop dead .

Also, how can that be Sideways if he was like, totally destroyed in half by Sideswipe in the ROTF? Are we bringing back every dead Transformer now?

Overall, the trailer looks really promising, as a relatively new member of the Transformers order, I am a fan of the Michael Bay movies because of their sheer epic-ness--although I'm sure once I get enough cred to consider myself a TF expert, I might think differently in terms of plot.

Very excited for the film, this summer is going to be HUGE for movies!

The number of 'Cons with alt modes seems like it has increased considerably in this movie. Where did they come from? Were they already here, hiding in disguise? It seems like the story may involve more of the 'Cons ensconcing themselves into Earth culture, and actually using their disguises more this time around. Would make sense, easily.

One thing that no one has mentioned: the characters may infact be dead, but to be fair the alt modes that they scanned are plentiful around the city and the world. There's no reason why one 'Con or 'Bot can't scan the same alt mode another one has. My guess is it's a different character that scanned the Audi for its alt mode...same for Long Haul and Brawl in this trailer- they scanned similar vehicles and just use an existing template for succesful transformation.

I dont care if they reuse some of the alt modes for foot soldiers that get rapidly dropped. The movies far more exciting if there's some fodder to kill between the named characters facing off. G1 did the same exact thing, as there were how many different seekers? Long as the major characters on both sides get some screen time and flesh out a bit. Simliar how War for cybertron mostly focused on Megatron and Prime's story.

It's way too early to call how this will play out. The trailer was a whole 30 secs. This definitely gets me excited but I ground my imagination a bit because I will always set the bar higher than Hollywood can ever afford as they can't make the film my mind would heh. Best they've given me the next bets thing.

Apart from the fact that the Decepticons have gone from not having enough Energon to raise scraplings..uh, I mean Hatchlings..with to having enough to field a planetary invasion force with, it's all looking pretty sweet actionwise!

...and they're recycling Bot Modes again, totally unfair to Jazz...the story will show itself off.

The Trailer is Silverbolt/Trailer is a Trailer/Trailer is Jetfires' Carcass thing is sounding like it's in danger of bad fan reception if it turns out to be too cheesy as a gimmick.

I personally hope the bird isn't a Dragon but a bird. Remember a photo Albershide posted ages ago with a car that had a Bat symbol on the licence plate? We wrote it off as fake, but there might be more of them animal-bots around...someone said Pterodactyl...*sigh*..no Dinobots, we can be (almost) sure...but hope-raising thought nonetheless, however brief a thought it was!

Weren't there three Dreads? Ironhide tackles two.

Any chance the oversized Sideways/Barricade might actually be the Armored truck from the Bank Robbery?

As the end of this trilogy,the movie is going to be just fine.

Another posibility.

The way i lok at it, there are a few possible explanations....

- This is Barricade,

-This is a con that looks simular to Sideways,

-This is a Sideways "twin" like Grindor was to Blackout, Skywarp and Thunder Cracker are to Star Scream

-Bay and Co. used a still of Sideways just for the trailer not thinking that the fandom would be so darn cinical to stop motion every milli second of the trailer to nit pick it to death...

-My guess is number 4.

Yeah, we as general fanbase are pretty damned cynical. Only fans I know of that are worse are Star Wars and Star Trek fans...talk about continuity biotches.

You can see in the screen shot (as pointed out by my boyfriend and fellow avid fan) that the tire looks like it has fingers coming out from underneath it which looks ALOT more like Barricade's hand! Sideways looks more like he's holding the tire, while Barricade's tire looks more like it sits on his wrist like a bad ass watch.

Also, the angles of Sideways are much more severe than Barricade's and he is far more slim. The 'Con in the pic looks more stocky and therefore more like Barricade.

I just really can't figure out how people are mistaking Lazerbeak for a dragon. Especially with the HD still shots on this site. Not the wings are very... feathered like. Not solid like a dragons nor like Swoop. The scale point is far from relevant. Also, judging from the size scale, its unclear as it is taken from above while Lazerbeak is in flight. There is no doubt in my mind that what we saw is in fact Lazerbeak. Considering how Soundwave is still very much alive, and Ravage was skinned (never knew you could skin a robot, but Bumblebee taught me you can), Lazerbeak would be his next to send out. If it looks funky... well, name me one character in the movie that didn't look funky when compared to his G1 counterpart. Yeah, even Prime looks a bit off... but that the style.

Amyome else think that dragon thing might be the Terrorcon Hunn-Gur?

dont know about the dragon but by replaying the vid theres something chewing throw the road at one point which seems to have two or three heads.

its almost hydra like.

all i know is one thing.

now we got animal TFs I WANT MY DINOBOTS DAMNIT !



COOL trailer and amped me right up for the film. especially with ROTF being so lackluster. i mean how can it be worse than that ?

still theres alot in this that looks fun and if these are the terrocons there has to be a chance for the dinos.

dragons have wings
they breathe fire

So, why does Bay include dragons, but not dinos?!


Heh, Can you immagine that? Dragons are so famous from knight-movies and stories, yet the publicity prefers dinosaurs. And yet, they're given dragons.

BARRICADE IS IN THIS MOVIE!!! If you stop it for a split second at 0:29, you see Optimus stab Barricade! You see his face, arms and everything else that made Barricade recognizable! Just a big explosion ripping through his chest.

I believe it started by pointing out the length of the neck.
Personally I wouldn't say it's one or the other - the long neck is more reptilian; I'm not concerned. "Feathers" are irrelevant....some dragon renderings have feathers versus webbing, and as far as I'm aware science last claimed certain dinosaurs (the raptors come first to mind) had feathers and were closely related to birds or whatever (at least their hips were, ha ha). Take that how you will. I take "science" in history with a grain of salt with how often it's modified.

As far as I'm concerned it's a flying Transformer. It retains lift props on either side of its body like the other [supposed] 'Cons floating around the Decepti-ships in the sky, sort of like the copters in Cameron's Avatar, or an Osprey. Heh, I don't even care what name they give him; low chance it will be mentioned in the film. I'll worry about name/character when I'm looking for the toy.


edit: And Ravage might very well come back in this film...He was alive/revived and well in Tales of The Fallen comic book, and since Starscream's tattoos made it from comic to movie, and also considering the amount of meshes being recycled, I simply couldn't count him, or a look-a-like, out of the picture.

Seen the trailer a dozen times or so. Haven't seen a dragon. Buzzard/condor, yet. Dragon, no. Besides, remember that one of the placeholders in the Wal-Mart computers said "BUZZARD"...that's what we saw.
