BeastProwl wrote:the logo on the steering wheel WOULD be cool, but is it shown to be on the newer model cammaro anywere in the movies? I only saw the steering wheel on the old one. Don't get me wrong, I'm keeping mine for probably the rest of my life, so selling isn't an issue. I just like that there are only around 1,500 of them and this is just adding to the total even though it's different.

Dude, its a new car. If you want a collectible car, invest in a 1969 Camaro or something around that time era.

While I agree with Rated X I'll also say that you can take solace in the fact that since yours is older than the 2012 special edition, it will likely hold value longer and better than the newest run. It won't be valued as much as the first limited edition 2007 run but let's face it, most folks getting this car aren't getting it for resale value, they are die-hard fans who want to get and keep a kick-ass tribute piece to an iconic franchise. It doesn't matter what year the car is, you roll by in "Bumblebee" and every fan-boy will want to be you and every fan-girl will want to jump in the back seat with you.
hmmmmm....hey, can I borrow your car Saturday night?![]()

Also, will it be available in automatic? I can't drive manual. (I know, I suck)
It’s the little details — like Cybertronian symbols spelling “Transformers” on the spoiler, Autobot logos on the wheel caps and front quarter panel and an awesome interior with black leather seats and bright yellow stitching — that give this Chevrolet extra attitude.
“When you see this car,” says Barry, “you’re not going to think it’s a car, you’re going to think it is Bumblebee… and you’re going to be looking around for the other Autobots. How cool is that?” Plus, if any Decepticons show up, you’ll be able to handle them

Just as the "Transformers" movies have become a blockbuster series, the Camaro Transformers editions are now an iconic series in their own right. In conjunction with the summer 2011 release of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," Chevrolet announced the 2012 Transformers Special Edition. Offered on the top two trim levels — 2LT and 2SS — the 2012 Transformers edition only improves upon the already immensely popular 2010 model.
The 2012 Transformers look starts with a stripe design consistent with the actual "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" Bumblebee model: Rally Yellow exterior paint with exclusive Carbon-Fiber-like Weave rally stripes that travel on each side of the hood bulge, roof, decklid and spoiler. In addition, this model also includes side gill decal stripes, a look borrowed from the iconic 2011 Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Replica.
