Yeah it's $40 but they have nothing to do with it. Even their own Seacons and Nightbeat are pushed back so I don't think they're going to be involved. BBTS is trying to get both the Ultra Armor and the Optimus trailer.

A little off topic but...
I'm still waiting for my Nightbeat :-(

this isnt the same transformers club that does the botcon exclusives, this is a japanese group who do kits do 'upgrade' current figures!

It's pretty certain that Fun Publications who run the Collectors Club and Botcon wouldn't go anywhere near this due to the nature of their license with Hasbro and this being unofficial product. Online retailers such as BBTS don't have the exclusivity problem as they are supplied by various companies, not even all of their official TF products being sourced directly from either Hasbro or TakaraTomy. Admitedly the Coronation set saw a wider release but in theory anyone who was able to source stock on that should be able to get hold of some of these. I know it's not really in the nature of the fan community but I would advise patience here. Deals will be done and preorders will appear, it's really just a question of when and with whom.

City Commander will be limited quantities with a locked SRP, and mainly offered to North American Fans this time.

No where in the original post by FansProject does it say City Commander will be for US fans exclusively. The makers are looking into North American online retailers. Some of those online retailers ship outside of North America. So as long as an online retailer is willing to ship to your location, you should be able to get City Commander.
