thats why a symbol might work better
I made a call for the clans to create an emblem for this earlier in the thread. The RDD seems to be on it already so chop chop.crazyfists wrote:thats why a symbol might work better
What if there is a certain Sentinel that may have a certain plan to allow you to opt characters out of clan competitions?Scantron wrote:crazyfists wrote:Scantron wrote:I really like the idea, but I think it would look better to have the tag/symbol/whatever just by the team name, rather than on each individual character.

Even a symbol, I'd prefer it just by the team name, rather than each character.

RDD leading the way, AWC trailing behind, seems to be SOP around here.

Caelus wrote:Personally, if we're going to do emblems instead of acronyms, I'd rather the clan tag replace the faction symbol that shows up to the right.
But perhaps that would send the wrong message.
You most certainly may.Redimus wrote:By n large I think this is a realy cool idea, but can I offer a couple of sujestions?
DoneRedimus wrote:Firstly, is it possible to change the alingnment, instead of having the tag directly after the name (which makes it all look very messy, could we have it at the other end of the box, perhaps that'd make it look neater (especilly in the registery, and it'd probably be easier than coding it not to show there).
DoneRedimus wrote:Secondly, I have noticed that for reasons unknown, it also showes up next to the link to the charecter profile on the upgrades page, which is a little odd.
Meh. That's no fun.Burn wrote:Why have it as an image? Why not just have it as ordinary text but coloured differently?
Redimus wrote:Cheers OS, I actully ment the other, other side of the box (ie hard up on the right hand side), but in hindsite I think it actully looks neater where you have put it!
I'm probably going to leave them where they are now. When the 4 of you figure out what your clan emblems are going to be it will look much better.Hollow One wrote:Redimus wrote:Cheers OS, I actully ment the other, other side of the box (ie hard up on the right hand side), but in hindsite I think it actully looks neater where you have put it!
I think far right would work, but faction symbols might just clear everything up anyways, or just put it in the team name, so it doesn't make the registry look messy.
Just a thought.

Meh, I'll bitch, I don't really like them where the are now.

Omega Sentinel wrote:As for putting it in the team name. I'm not doing that because there may be times where you want to exclude a character's activity from clan competition (when you are testing a config, etc). To give you that flexibility they need to stay in the character name.
Shadow Dragon wrote:As long as it's before the alt, if it's the far right of the box then the altmode would drop down that many pixels and make the boxes taller. I don't really care where they end up as long as it doesn't make anything more to scroll through.
