Are there only 2-3 Decepticons confirmed for this next wave of Classics??

Hasbro stated very clearly at Botcon that they would never release the Classics Thundercracker, Dirge & Thrust in mass retail so as to not devalue the exclusives that collectors have paid their money for.

I am one of those collectors that as Counterpunch would say, "paid to play". When the Games of Deception set was announce I knew that either buy the set or don't complete your Classics seekers. Quite frankly I will admit that I would be pissed off as all hell if Hasbro turned on their word and released them for retail.

As I understand Onslaught is the only Decepticon that has been confirmed for this first wave of the Classics 2.0. Because of answers given at Botcon from the Hasbro panel and product developement skecthes it is being assumed that Octane & Galvatron (new mold) are coming down the pipeline later.

At Botcon there was talk about Jazz and Arcee. Hasbro was more interested in Jazz in Universe as opposed to Arcee but I wouldn't quite count her out just yet.

But then again, who knows what is to come. I'd say we'll see some teaser pics within the next month or so.

Thrust and Dirge? So be it... But to put ALL 3 of them in such an "elite" situation is just DUMB.

Please understand that as I'm typing this, I'm not really pissed off, upset, throwing stuff across the room, etc.
Disappointed? Yeah.
It just doesn't make sense to me...

End the Botcon exclusivity!

It will never happen botcon only figures will stay that way. The only way I see us get Thundercracker, Dirge & Thrust is if takara does them for there version of classics 1.0.

We can bring the issue up to the Internationl Court.

I'd say the only chance TT is allowed to do these is for Japcon.

No, unless botcon bought the WORLDWIDE rights to selling those figures, I see no reason at all for Takara not to release their own versions, especily since takara really does know what the fan wants most of the time. Dunnow if they WILL do that, but that excuse is nieve and incorect.

Anyway, Im gonna try and refraim from voicing my views about the whole classics seekers bull ****, cuase quite frankly those lucky few who did live in the right country/have enough money to get em tend to piss me off no end with thier 'Thou shalt not have seekers' attitude.

Looks like we'll just have to settle for unofficial or KO toys.

I know the feeling... it is just very much unsupportable not to be able to get the whole seekers. Exclusives, well I understand that there should be some, but not to those extreme prices that some people scarer aroud

Isn't the magazine which will show the entire 1st wave of classics 2.0 out friday so any speculation will end then.

Amen to that...pictures would be nice.

I hope for a good number of Decepticons. I may be an Autobot at heart, but I still love the 'Cons and want to see/collect more of them. I someday hope to have some version of Skywarp to go with my Classics Starscream and Movie Thundercracker so I can say that I have at least some version of the first three seekers.

In regards to Thundercracker, they still can release them in mass and not devalue the Botcon ones simply by changing the stripe design. You know, like they did with Classics SS and the Japanese SS. The Japanese one is faithful to the G1 stripes, while Hasbro's is different. It will simply be a variant that won't compete with the Botcon because they will not be alike other than being the same blue/silver body. Same can go with Thrust and Dirge. But, thats asking too much I suppose.

I surely can not wait to see what the new Classics will have for us. I hope we get good ones! Some car bots like Prowl, Smokescreen, Sunstreaker, and Sideswipe would be nice. And of course more Dinobots and Decepticons!
