Garrus-9 – CorridorsHaving received somewhat panicked word from his subordinates that they’d found Logicor, Snaptrap broke out into a full sprint, signaling the others of his team to follow. Apparently, the rest of his team were in the tender mercies of the Horrorcons, which did not reassure Snaptrap to any degree that his team would survive their encounter with that scientist’s Autobot monstrosity. The only thing for it was to move fast.

Before Slog could even interject at Apeface’s rough treatment of one of his own, heavy footfalls shook the facility. All of them knew what that meant. And as the hulking behemoth came into view, Slog’s spark ran cold. He finally knew what it felt like to be on the receiving end of a colossal monster’s rampage. It was not a pleasant feeling.
Grabbing the Monstercons that he could and ushering them toward cover, he fell back to Apeface’s position even as the situation grew direr. Thankfully, someone appeared to help them. A mech that seemed to be fury incarnate latched itself onto the back of Logicor and began to tear away at him like some sort of beast.
Spared in this moment, Slog glanced to Apeface. “The weakness Monstructor has will not work for Logicor,” he informed the Horrorcon, “It requires one to cause a disruption in the collective consciousness of that thing. And that may be specific to Monstructor.”
“W-well!” Umbra called from behind the minimal cover that had been constructed, “That time before…that big Con…er…I don’t know his name, but he beat the scrap out of Monstructor and made you all fall apart.”
Slog grimaced and fired on Logicor, knowing what that solution entailed. It meant they were back to square one with their only solution being to fight Logicor. And somehow win.
“Great! Was hoping for a little more than just beat it till it falls down, but you know,” Skalor grumbled as he also fired on Logicor, taking more than a little care to avoid accidentally firing on Hun-Grr. He didn’t particularly fancy reliving behind back-handed into a wall. Not this cycle at least. “What in pit?!” he growled out as something brown flew past him.
That brown thing was in fact Synapse in his rarely seen alternate form, which was avian in origin. He soared forward toward Logicor, flapping his wings frantically. He transformed midair to throw himself at Triggerhappy who, for all intents and purposes in Synapse’s mind, had gone off to kill himself. He aimed to tackle his patient to the ground, but somehow, he got stuck for an instant mid-transformation. This threw him drastically off course, sailing past Triggerhappy and sliding to a stop near Logicor’s feet.
“Triggerhappy, you mustn’t!” he shouted frantically as he tried to organize his tangle of limbs into a standing position. “Come back to cover and fight from there! Please! I won’t allow you to kill yourself!”
CRUNCH!“AH!” Synapse squeaked, jumping away from Logicor’s foot, believing that something had crunched him for the briefest of moments. But it was the Terrorcon Blot. He had followed his master, rising from his pile of rubble obediently. Now, the master was attacking this huge thing, and Blot would help. He had bit down as hard as he could on the combiner’s ankle. Now, Blot tugged and shook his head trying to tear it apart.
From behind him, more Decepticons arrived. The first among them was Snaptrap who, upon seeing Logicor, transformed and fired off several volleys from his cannons at Logicor’s back, taking some care to avoid Hun-Grr.
