Though I like how Skullsmasher looks, I don't know much about him as a character, so I don't really care to get him. I kinda hope he gets a repaint though. I do want the four main Autobot Headmaster guys though.

But cant that be part of the fun? You can play with him just as the toy he is. One of my favourite transformer toys of all time is Alternators Decepticharge who literally has no bio. And thats awesome because that makes him simply a cool toy. And in any case, any fiction regarding a toy is made to sell it. The toy is the main feature here. At least it was early on, before the movies, which exist for people to watch and not necessarily sell toys. But I still see it as toys. I can enjoy ROTF Optimus not caring about the fact that he is a psycho murderer who likes to rip off people's faces. The toy is awesome in and of itself.

Yeah but at the same time, if they make the toy into a character I'm more familiar with, I'll want to get that instead. I have a lot of characters I want to get already, so putting a character on top of that that I don't know much about is kinda silly I think, even though I am all about being silly to an extent. 8-}

Someone may like G1 Hot Rod more than Animated Lockdown but if they go for Classics Rodimus over the Animated Lockdown toy, they are certainly losing out. Or hell, Movie Mindwipe beats almost everyother toy and he never appeared in the film :lol:

THAT'S for sure. It does help sell a whole lot.

I have Blurr, Astrotrain, Hardhead, 3 Scourges, Galvatron, and a whole bunch of other characters to get which I would prefer over Skully. That doesn't mean I don't want Headmasters. I just don't like Skullcruncher as a character from the little I know about him. I do really like Weirdwolf though, but that's partially because he is a character in the Seibertron RPG that has been around my Decepticon character a bit (I have Bonecrusher). Other characters I want such as a Misfire and other guys I want because of the Seibertron Roll Play Game. Bonecrusher and Misfire, contrary to most fiction, are kinda buddies in the RPG. I also am wanting a Cliffjumper since I also have him in my roster of characters.

Cary's Hardhead hijinx definitely inspired some silliness over here.

MAN! I'm lovin' these guys. Such a fresh restart after CW.
Blurr is super fine! All that blue is weird, but I like it. The color is such a strange shade. It's like it devours light instead of reflecting it. But so much awesome sculpted detail, and just a killer bot mode! I totally forgot to pull up his headtenna that whole time. #-o

Skulljacker is just as fun. That Gator mode is hilariawesome! Ya, his hips are gooey, looks like it's gonna be a system wide error, but good thing he comes with that gator tail pimp cane. I could get him to hold some pretty decent poses though. The articulation on the beast head and front legs is real neat. In package, Skullsmash chomped down on one of his toofs, so he has a permanent snaggle tooth now. Just adds to his character.

This is gonna be a fun ride. ;)^
