It's cool, I still like ya. I'll give you the plastic though.
He's a fun mold for a fun game. He hangs with the rest of the WfC/FoC figures, so scale isn't an issue for me. As far as the head goes, I just turn it around backwards and pretend it's some sort of engine or other cybertron stuff; you know, like a robot head or something. I wish they could have hit it better but what can you do. It's a phenomenal sculpt.
It's one of my favorite seeker molds. Scratch that; is my fav. Its posable and easy to transform. The gun gimmick is fun and gives quite a few play options in both bot and alt mode. And that light piping is glorious!
And I just plain think the FoC seekers look cool.
And now you know; blue and red lasers
Wow my full username; am I in troublewilliam-james88 wrote:Carytheone, have you ever played with the voyager seeker from the Cybertron/galaxy force era? They made both a Starscream and Dirge from that mold.

Nope, I haven't. I was just giving examples of the appeal to that figure from the viewpoint of a fan. Remember I'm a cheap date when it comes to tiny plastic giant robots.

Ya might have to fight Cary for it.
carytheone wrote:Will, you're an excellent plastic crack enabler dealer btw.
So what's the story with those guys? Why is both listing the same bundle? I'm assuming they were sold together?

Yup, target exclusive 2 pack during the Universe era where they were just reusing Cybertron toys to make updates to classic characters. Believe it or not, those two were Classics Roadbuster and Dirge until the generations toys came out. And you'd be getting them for cheaper than retail (which was 30$). And if you never handled eiher mold, oh you are in for a treat. Those cybertron toys are the ultimate achievement in a combination of beautiful design and playability. You will notice that the FOC seeker takes hints from that toy by also having the legs and head right there front and centre, but this toy makes it all work as one cohesive altmode. It's simple but you really dont feel it needs to be any more complicated. It is my favourite seeker mold, by far. I cant wait to hear your thoughts on it.
Well unfortunately you may be waiting a while for that one. I'm a 12th lvl window shopping wizard hailing from the hem and haw valley.william-james88 wrote:I cant wait to hear your thoughts on it.

While I'm always open to fiddle with a new folding robot, those guys/that line isn't on the radar. I've got a few other things clogging up the old crystal ball right now if I'm going spend some of my seiberbucks.
That roadbuster looks neat, I've always loved that color combo.
