Dig the new location.

@ Cary - He is a tad small, but ya know, compared to what? Not sure the average size of a space shuttle catdragon species. Those old Diaclone pilots scale real nice. :P

He is super dope. Once I got over some the looseness in some joints and was able to finagle them into place he got real fun, real fast. His torso mode legs are the best out of all the voyagers.

Sky Lynx just looks small compared to deluxes. I think it's just because he's on all fours.

He looks like a fun time kitty, maybe he'll show up at retail this week.

Sky Lynx is actually a nice size, just hunched down on all 4's with a long neck and tail. At least he still makes the regular torso size! And he looks good at it too :BOT:

Speaking of a council of elders, did anyone watch the film The Martian? I ask because I know Cobo is a LOTR fan and not only does the film star Sean Bean (Boromir), there is an actual part in the Martian where they hold a secret meeting which they code name Elrond. And one of the characters in the Martian is a woman who has no LOTR knowledge so she asks why the hell it would be called project Elrond, to which Sean Bean explains. I was watching this film with a huge smile since Of Course Sean Bean would know what the word Elrond refers to, after all he was in the actual meeting at Elrdon himself

And apparently, this was actually in the book The Martian so when the Directorcast Sean Bean, he saw this line and thought it should be removed but the producers told him it would be hilarious and that he should keep it. Well done producers!

We can call a special session, but Cobo, you need to warn him about the New trials first. We don't need any more liability lawsuits. Don't forget what happened to that one guy.

Well, now I've gone and done it. I had just sold a spare Onslaught to my uncle for around $30 US, so I was looking at stuff to spend it on. I happened to stumble across a couple of listings for Takasa Tony Masterpieces. Intrigued, I decided to look up Takasa Tony to see if their MP KO's were good quality. The first thing I found was a TFW2005 thread where people were discussing CMP-20. After reading some of that stuff, and watching some reviews on him (the KO, not the official), I decided to pull the trigger on an Ebay listing for $35 US. In about 2 weeks, my first KO, Wheeljack, should arrive.

Well keep us informed of your experience with that. My one and only KO worked out for me.

I've heard others name drop RocketPunchArmy as a good source for KO reviews and I've watched several of their videos as well. You can check them here.

Just know that KO is the dark side of TF collecting ;) I kid of course

RocketPunchArmy was the channel I watched, and ultimately the deciding factor.

I agree with this in the fact that it is a serious deviation. But it has its place.

For one, KOs are an awesome way of getting spare parts for G1 TFs for less than Shapeways. By buying a KO G1 abominus, I got nice guns, fists and feet for my G1 combiner.

Plus, its the only way to get to experience some TFs, like Liokaiser.

And Lastly, it helps making the scale correct:

Well anyone should know by now that I'm not anywhere near a purist. I was joking but also giving a bit of real advice. There are some people who look down on KOs or even 3P stuff here on Seibertron. If I remember correctly I was declared a heretic recently :-?

Also, no amount of upsizing can save that Lockdown from being a piece of junk.

I actually like that Lockdown. I'm not a fan of the movie-verse figures look, but the transformation is a lot of fun and the alt mode is dead sexy.

That thing is amazing, but as expensive as a 3P toy. Too much for me to pull the trigger on. That voyager lockdown with metal parts was only 15$.

It is pretty pricey, but I think it may scale with the Human Alliance figures better. Man, I missed out on picking up HA Jazz from TransformerLand with their latest update. Back in the day I actually picked up HA Jazz NEW from Walmart, then returned it for no reason other than I hadn't opened it yet.

Silly Cram

But whats the point of scaling with them when he never had that form with that group (who are all dead besides BB). Leader Prime from ROTF, or any toy using that mold, would be much more appropriate.
