Since many of you have the set of 3 Refelctors, I have a question: is it good? Like honestly. If it was in stores, not exclusive, and 40$ for a set, would you have gotten em? And how do you guys find the camera mode? Is it worth getting 3 shockwaves to do it?

They're great little dudes. The head sculpt is spot on, and honestly, the only thing about them that makes me think shockwave is the gun hand. Totally worth it.

Is it good: Honestly, yes. They're good (more on that in a sec).

Would I have gotten them if they were a standard retail release with exact same deco and molding: Slightly less than maybe. Exclusivity really makes this odd turduckhen more attractive. It's like getting a band shirt for the concert you went too.

How's the camera mode: Silly fun. It's obivously a lucky fan mode. The one Cobs posted looks better than the one they had on display and the mode works better than expected. As you can see it has a lot of fun playability and flexibility. I've been messing around with snapping the legs together and the arms in different ways. I've come up with some weird stuff but nothing noteworty.

I've compared Reflector and Shockwave together and Reflectors deco wins hands down and the head sculpt is amazing. Having three of them really is a really cool bonus.

They only real complaints I have is I wish they didn't have the gun hand and I wish they had a little unique molding on each to differentiate them from one another.

I've yet to try throwing Shockwave in the mix to see what I can come up with four of them.

Overall cool set and I'm very pleased with them, but they are my "BotCon souvenir".

I think the set is great. Cary and I kept asking ourselves, were they really an abandoned Hasbro plan, or just a happy accident the Club stumbled upon? Judging by the camera mode, I'd guess the later, but looking at the paint and color schemes, I'd say the former.
I would have bought them in store for $30, no doubt. I was happy to pay the premium to commemorate the wonderful time I had at the event. An exclusive memento from an unforgettable event. Plus we have never gotten an update of Reflector before, and he is a Microchange Era concept, so ... ya, you know me.

Is it worth buying 3 shockwaves, I don't know. Maybe?

I wouldnt mind 2 out of three being similar looking, but one should have that circle lens on his chest. I am surprised they didnt do that extra step, that would have made me really want to hunt him down. Thanks for your review though, I do see how this being more of a memento is the key for both you and Cobotron and thus its not the easiest toy to analyse in an unbiased fashion.I really appreciate everything you guys have written about him and the time you took to get back to me

But technically, reflector is just one guy. They arent team reflector or the reflectors, its just reflector. And the whole thing is that he can split into 3 reflections. So that generations toy is accurate in its own little way and the camera mode is real good.

I think its your version who is technically the new form of Armada Tidal Wave. That toy is super complex, and makes for a very intimidating TF on a shelf. I'd like to know what you think of him. I think hes the most complex guy of your whole haul actually, when it comes to official toys of course So yeah, awesome find and I look forward to your rundown of who you like. Maybe you could rank them

Oh Willy, I like them all. Galvatron is by far my favorite thing I got, but that could also be because I have been after him for so long. He is a great Cybertron toy though, and possibly the most complex Cybertron fig there is.
Override and Energon Insecticon are the weakest of the bunch (as you warned me), but they aren't terrible. Just glad to have them. Mirage IS super complex. I had to get out the instructions half way through his transformation. He is a great fig! sloppy kibble and all. And that head sculpt is awesome.
I'm real happy with Energon Land Quake and Towline. Both are really fun and simple. Land Quake and Mirage reek of Aaron Archer, and I like it. Energon Downshift is super cool. I need to powerlink him with somebody to see how that works out. HE is another toy I have been hunting for a long time.
GDO Bluestreak means I have every Bluestreak toy there is (except Q. who I looked for, but no luck)
I didn't even know that Legends Jazz existed, so he was a nice surprise.
Oh, and the two-pack with Roadbuster and Dirge rocks! I love that Seeker mold, and am glad I finally have one. I got those guys MISB for a really great price. Way better than I was willing to pay.

Did I miss anybody? Oh ya, Brimstone. Simple and fun. He has a neat little asymmetrical transformation that is pretty neat.

All in all, I'm really happy with all the bots I landed.

That is Iron Factory's City Commander. He is meant to scale with Legions and Legends. His bot mode is out of this world, but his alt mode is a tad iffy. HE comes with an assload of great weapons that could be given to bots in need.
About the last hour of the show, Ages Three and Up pulled out a bunch of 3p stuff. Scooped him up with a little discount. I have been eye balling all the War in Pocket stuff for a while.
Crappy part, he has two left hands. Not the end of the world, but since it was a cash under the table deal and there is no record of the transaction, I doubt there is anything they will do about it. Plus they are in Canada.
