All Hail Megatron is being extended!
Chris Ryall, the Editor-in-Chief of
IDW Publishing has updated his blog
Ryalltime, with the announcement that the previously confirmed
All Hail Megatron Coda series will instead by turned into issues #13 to #16 of the main
All Hail Megatron series.
Ryall mentions the reasons for the change, and what we can expect from the last four issues of All Hail Megatron:
The series was only ever slated to be a 12-part saga, but word and sales on the book have remained so steady that the four-part "Coda" we talked about before has become AHM 13-16. Each of these four issues will contain two 11-page stories by different creative teams--a couple of which will factor into future plans in a big way--and each of these stories either wraps up elements from Shane's 12-part story, sets up events for the future or delves into plot points that fans that early on were inconsistencies.
Ryall also confirms
our earlier story relating to Nick Roche working on a story concerning Kup, and how he was upgraded from the state he was in at the end of
Spotlight Kup, to his shiny new form seen in All Hail Megatron.
As an added bonus, Ryall has also posted both versions of the cover for All Hail Megatron #13, with Prime and Ironhide featuring on both. Trevor Hutchison will continue to create the alternate covers. To view the covers and read Ryall's full blog update, please

IDW's future plans for the series post All Hail Megatron will be announced during
BotCon.
