While looking through images of the new film, I've noticed something potentially interesting that I haven't seen any other topics on. If there is one, Feel free to ignore this one but here goes.

Has anyone really looked at the car carrier? I can't imagine them doing it on purpose due to the "stars" it's transporting. But look. See the color? It's white. And from what I've seen, it's similar to Optimus....

My point being: Could this be Ultra Magnus??

How convenient that a character in the film also can transport the other characters alt modes? Would save some money right?

Keep in mind, these are just my weird ideas. Not actual information.

What do you guys think??

To my knowledge this has been brought up before. I do think it is a good idea. My only concern is the "condition" of Ultra Magnus. Bay likes bright shiney cars with exceptional paint. A big rig running down the interstate is going to have wear and tear, so to speak. So, for this reason alone, I do not think the transport rig is Ultra Magnus. I would love to be wrong . . .

Yes, Bay loves bright & shiny cars, but what if this is an exception to the rules?

Consider this:
Ultra Magnus is supposed to be the ultimate warrior.
He's a battle-hardened soldier who has fought through countless centuries of war.
Maybe he has wear and tear to show just how bad he really is. :mrgreen:

So is Ironhide. He looks like he was crapped out of a rock crusher in bot mode yet his alt mode is nice and purty.

I would love to be wrong. I just do not see Bay using a less then perfect truck. Unless . . . this is the old bot. :-?

I hope I'm wrong, but I think it's waaaaayyyy to early in the movie series to bring in Magnus.

And yes, Bay does like pretty, shiny things. The battle hardened theory above was good, but highly unlikely for Bay.

Once again, I hope I'm wrong.

It would be pretty cool if UM was in the film. Maybe he could be like RiD's version? (I only saw like two episodes, so I'm just going off what I read in the wiki.)

But will he have time to deal with this?
