I wonder if he could make a purely crystal version...

That thing should look completely hideous to me. But something about the gold with the clear figure just looks cool. If I bought exclusives like this, I might consider buying it.

That all chrome version I would totally go for. Likewise an all Crystal version would be a win with me.
That clear with gold accents mix however is just totally not appealing to me at all. Red, silver and gold done the right way, however, is an awsome mix (I've done it before on an old Robotech Orguss figure. Came out sweet) and I think it could be done on this particular mold so long as the crystal aspect was taken out of the equation. The transparent red version of this mold might even look good with chrome accents but not the gold and I'm not even certain the chrome would work well with the see thru aspect. I think it's just that the two mediums, transparent and metallic, simply should never mix.

I also saw chromed WST seekers, glow in the dark toys, even chrome Animated activators.
I think I just made a mess in my nerd pants

He must work in a factory, those are some of the best "lunch time specials" I've seen in a while.
Oh and Classics was out in 06/07 right towards the end of Cybertron, was meant to be filler between Cybertron and the Movie line
