Is it confirmed the hands plug in for transformation? I know they have two options, but as far as I know you don't have to take them off for transformation.

I haven't heard much about the hands. From the photos I presumed that the hands come out during transformation, but hope they don't need to.

After all the crap with the change of designers for the MP line, and lack of real info on how it will affect future releases, I decided to pre-order this. Until Takara get their act together and let us know the new (old) designer is going to continue the line as it has been since MP-10, 3P Not-Masterpiece figures will come first for me [-(

Hm, looking at how he sizes next to BB and Jazz, this might work well in my Classics collection. He might not be intended for that, but it might work out well enough. Maybe.

There has been talk about the plastic quality not being as good as it could be, but him being fairly sold overall. The flashing supposedly isn't as bad in person as the images make out.

To be fair, X-tranny does have two face options...a toy inspired face with mouth-plate and then whatever it is they call that one pictured above. I think it's modeled after Huffer's older, alcoholic uncle or something... Why you'd want a supposed 'MP' Huffer with a toy face, though, I dunno. Of course if alchie-uncle is the alternative, I'd probably go toy face, too.

Oh dear, oh dear Cubex, what is up with your QC dept?

After reading about the recent QC issues with this figure then seeing it alongside the X-Transbots version, X-T wins hands down.

X-Transbots Krank will of course be my Classics Huffer as his scale is perfect!

Staying on topic with Huff, I noticed Chimungmung.com have two listings for him, one being the current release at full price and the other being a 'second round' at a reduced price? Odd?

One would assume if there are QC issues with some of the first run, that would be the one with the reduced price, not the second run? :???:
