I need help on disassembling the waist of the CW Optimus/Motormaster mold.
I recently got a version of this mold and there was a problem with the waist: It wouldn't turn. I attempted to disassemble the waist by removing the two screws that hold together the front and back halves of the waist to see what the problem was, and while I have succeeded in getting the waist to turn (there was an excess of glue holding it in place), I now have another problem in that I can't get the waist reassembled because, even without the screws, the two waist halves are still stuck together.
I have tried and tried to get the two little springs, the two notches the springs attach to, and the legs all back into place inside the waist pieces, and have failed each time. I am now at a point where I feel my only hope is to somehow get the two halves of the waist apart from each other and off of the torso, but as I said, the two halves just won't come apart.
Any assistance in this would be greatly appreciated.
