Shockwave's Tower - Command Center

Without any sound Bane sunk down on his right knee, holding his hand on the wound. He was used to excessive amount of pain and this was nothing compared to what he had experienced in the past. He looked up, still with an unnerving smile on his face, stared at Shockwave for a brief astrosecond and then gathered his severed arm with the other.
Things had gone a bit out of hand, but his twisted plan was going in the right direction nonetheless. The Corrupticon Alpha walked out of sight of the others, presumely going to the Medic Bay.

Shockwave's Tower - Main Hangar

Quantum was not exactly pleased about not being part of the assault, but he would never dream of questioning the orders given. And he also knew that everyone had to do labor work once in a while. Being highly decorated veteran or not, no exceptions was made.

"Let's get to it, my fellow seekers"

Shockwave's Tower - Armory

Thrall had been shocked by the unfair treatment of Bane by Shockwave, but had been wise enough not to act upon it. If he could, he would have beheaded the cyclop without hesitation.

Luckily it was a clean cut and nothing serious. Bane was still functional and just as deadly as before. He had expected a retaliation by the Black Death, but it never came. Only silence and a disturbing smile.

As they arrived at the Armory, Thrall was both surprised and disgusted by the sudden total obedience of Havok towards Onslaught. Had the grey Corrupticon been reprogrammed in his long absence?

As Onslaught gave them the orders, Thrall just grunted in dismay. Nothing he could do about the situation, but he really didn't like being ordered around by that astrowhelp.

Shockwave's Tower ~ Armory

"No questions" Was Havok's simple response to Onslaught, it seemed quite simple: He was working with Thrall, they had their target, nothing more was needed. He hadn't missed Thrall's reaction to his apparent change of attitude, nor had what had just happened with Bane already been forgotten, but doing what he did was Havok's way of stopping himself from doing something stupid. Like his fellow Corrupticon, he too had to curb a desire to retaliate on behalf of Bane against Shockwave, and the best way he saw fit to do that was to remove the offending Commander from his site.

As he moved away from the Combaticon Commander, the dark grey Corrputicon leaned against a wall as he spoke to Thrall through their secure commlink.

>>Don't misinterpret my actions and words my friend, I loathe this situation as much as you do, but sometimes, you just have to play by their rules if you want to get along. By nodding my head and saying all the right things, he now is less inclined to watch over us at all times, which allows us to get on with what we do best without interference, allows us to get on with showing the rest how it's done..>..As for Bane, what happened to him was unnecessary, counter productive and pointless, but what could we have done? If we stick around to defend him, we most likely end up like him, or worse. I don't know about you, but I'd rather be in battle than getting fixed up. Besides, I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of showing Bane loyalty while all he does is use us to get closer to whatever his twisted goals are. You know me, I'm Corrupticon first and foremost, but even I have my limits, and Bane knows how to push them, and he knows I won't make good on my threats against him either because of my loyalty to both of you..>..No, I didn't like what happened to him, I wanted to shove my scythe so far up Shockwave's calculated aft that it would interfere with his decision making process, but there would have been little point. Instead, I took a page out of Bane's rules and started looking out for number 1 a bit more, not as it may have seemed, me meekly retreating without a thought. Roles reversed, can you see Bane doing anything if it was your or my arm getting blown off?<<

Shockwave's Tower--Armory

Rampage hadn't really been paying any attention to Onslaught and Razorclaw's discussion; he knew his commander would give him the instructions he needed when the time was right and otherwise didn't doubt him. He knew Razorclaw had a plan and was content enough to follow it. As long as he got his prey at the end that was really all that mattered. Even if he was was yearning for combat he could curb his psycopathic tendecies enough to enjoy the moment and wait for the command.

Still at the order to disperse Rampage wasn't too sure what to do, he was reasonably sure his weapons were as sharp and as deadly as they always were; but simply prepping wasn't really going to slake his bloodlust.

Still he supposed he'd better check to make sure; then after that he could wander for a bit and perhaps hunt some turbo mice for some amusement.

At any rate he wasn't too fond of just sitting and waiting for the command to attack especially when the prey was so fine and would surely pose a challenge worth his time.

Shockwave's Tower - Main Hangar

Ghost called to Jadewind as he walked away.
“I do take that as a complement, Jadewind.”

She could treat him however it pleased her she nor anyone else could do any worse than had already been done to him Once upon a time he had been a seeker like her climbing his way up the ladder. And now he was a mere “ghost” of what he had been. HA!
He spoke to his unseen escort.

“She’s warming up to me……. Believe what you like but I’ve seen nothing to support the about her. ”

Ghost stopped as the phantom’s next comment caused him to become silent. After a moment the invisible seeker spoke,

“I gave my complete loyalty because you asked me to give it to them. I only did so because of who you were in life, not because you are dead. There are many of the dead who come to me…… but not one of them had died because of self sacrifice. None of those spirits held a fraction of the honor you deserve. For I have met many, and have been sadly disappointed. I’m sure those you have me watch mourn for you in private, and I know you do not want to hear that…………”

Ghost cast a quick glance around the hanger before continuing.

“I tell you never before have I carried out the direct orders of the dead, and I would not admit to doing so openly. Beyond that I don’t understand why I am helping you myself , perhaps it is the strange way I see you look at her when you think I am not paying attention. I have not seen such things from your realm before you.”

Ghost knew his one sided conversation sounded insane, but for the first time he found a respect for someone, even if he was dead. A respect he felt warranted the truth. And so he gave it.

The nearly invisible mech was suddenly cut short be a frantic Triggerhappy. He watched as his fellow con teetered on the edge of panic. Ghost had seen Astrotrain walk away a moment ago. Ghost’s optics searched Triggerhappy’s face before answering.

“First off were in Shockwave’s tower. There is no technology on cybertron that can out perform what he has installed here as far as security. NO need to worry about Autobots here. As for Astrotrain. He just left the hanger a moment ago, he seemed to be looking for someone. If you want to catch him he went out that door.”

Ghost pointed to the exit. Then started once again to go get refueled. He didn’t have much time before they would need him in the air.

He just left the hanger a moment ago, he seemed to be looking for someone. What? How could I not have realised that. What is going on with me? I never would have done that before... Before... Triggerhappy's mind wandered back to life before he became a part of the Decepticon army. It was a nice, relatively peaceful time, Triggerhappy missed it very much.
Maybe I'm on the wrong team? Triggerhappy thought. No! No. I can't, won't think like that! I'm on the right team and I know it. I'm just going through a phase, I just need to get out of it. But how?
Triggerhappy stood there thinking and it wasn't long until he was just standing there, once more in a trance like state. Just thinking, not taking in anything, his mind wandering through memories, some horrid, some pleasurable, as the world went on around him.

"As ready as we can be." Dirge replied to Starscream's question sourly. He wasn't in a mood of conversing with the seeker commander more than necessary.

Ramjet, who had just joined the rest of seekers appointed to the strike force with Thrust - wasn't as silent. "Well we did try to find thermonuclear warheads and anti-matter bombs but if ol's cyclops has any those are beyond our access level, heh."

Cyclonus walked into the Hangar, his optics quickly taking in the scene in front of him. The seekers were still milling about, although most were noticeably avoiding the Sweeps. The Sweeps were standing off to the stand, watching and observing the Seekers. The Sweeps were hunters and hadn’t really seen many other Transformers, so it was only natural that they would watch the Seekers. Of course it probably only added to the tension between the two groups. That was no concern of his though, not right now at least. It would simply do that they carried out their orders to his satisfaction.

“Sweeps! Prepare for immediate launch and combat!” The Sweeps promptly saluted and transformed, remaining in the hangar until Cyclonus gave the launch order. The air commandant then turned to Starscream and his seekers. It was time to see what he and his troops were capable of.

Starscream, you and I will each lead a primary squadron that will harass and draw fire from the Autobot. The secondary squadrons will take advantage of this and strike him in any vulnerable areas they can discern while his attention is focused on us.” He turned his gaze to Sixshot. “Sixshot, you will act as an independent unit, making attacks as you see fit.”

The sixchanger nodded. Cyclonus apparently understood that he wasn’t exactly a team player. He was built to be a one man army, and he functioned best as that. Pairing or teaming him with others would only result in them getting in his way.

Cyclonus turned back to Starscream. “We launch immediately.” With the orders given, Cyclonus transformed and launched out of the hangar, followed closely by the Sweeps and Sixshot.

Shockwave's Armory

Heap nods to Onslaught and salutes once more. Moving across the armory, Heap picks up a fresh Cooling Coil for his laser array, and several armor piercing ballistic clips for his rifle. Returning to Bludgeon he says, "Looks like it's you'n'me. Have you had any experience with Omega Sentinels?" he asks the question with genuine earnest; he'd heard of Bludgeon before, and respected the combat skills the Martial Decepticon was rumored to possess.

Bludgeon merely nodded in agreement with Onslaught.
He had gotten his orders and would execute them.
As Heap approached, Bludgeon was loading a heavy battlecanon with a size that suited him.
He glanced at Heap and finally spoke with his low grim voice "From afar only" he said "Long ago" he than added "I prefer to enter melee with my opponents... melee is not an efficient approach when dealing with 'their' kind" he said. "It all comes down to precize, heavy fire" the old Master said.

Shockwave's Tower - Main Hangar

Astrotrain came back into the hangar bay after, preparing his rifle for battle should it be needed. He had his doubts that it would ever be fired, the gray and purple large Decepticons optics, glanced up to notice that the attack was about to be launched. No one had bothered to explain to him if ground troops were going to be deployed to attack to the battlefield. He'd sooner strangle Screamer at the moment than ask him. Astrotrain transformed in the hangar becoming a massive transport vessel that could obtain orbital flight if the Decepticons needed to do so, firing up his engines to run diagnostics on his systems, before opening up a channel. >>If any of you slaggin idiots need a ride to blast Omega Supreme to bits, you better get your hydrolic rear ends down here.<< The annoyed freighter exclaimed over a Decepticon frequency.

Astrotrain simmered for a minute, glorified freighter! I'll run that wussy of a seeker over yet. Astrotrain said to himself in his mind. Astrotrain continued to wait in the hangar. The large spacecrafts side door opened to allow passengers to enter.

Shockwave's Tower - Armory

A communique from the Decepticon in charge of Polyhex reached all the warriors preparing for battle in the Tower's Armory.

Shockwave wrote:Proceed immediately to the Hangar Bay. We depart now.

Of course, the military coordinator would brook no lagging and dragging of feet.

Shockwave's Tower - Main Hangar

As Cyclonus and the Sweeps launched from the Hangar, Dunehopper clenched an angry fist at them and shook it at their departure. I can't wait to tear up those punks! Starscream says we've gotta be patient, though...so I guess I'll do what the boss says!

In an attempt to look like a good soldier, the golden Seeker transformed into his tetrajet mode and hovered a few meters off the floor, awaiting the official order from Starscream to move out. Cyclonus had told everyone to launch, but as far as Dunehopper was concerned, Starscream was in charge, not the purple petrorabbit-headed guy.

Meanwhile, Shockwave had arrived via one of the lifts at the rear of the cavernous bay. He heard Astrotrain's broadcast over a general comm channel, and as he passed the transport-specialist Decepticon, he paused for a moment to speak to him.

"Negative, Astrotrain. You will proceed to Kolkular and retrieve the Constructicons, then ferry them to the Tagan Heights." His single optic moved to Triggerhappy. "Triggerhappy, you will escort Astrotrain. Depart immediately."

The towering military coordinator strode to the mouth of the Hangar Bay just as Cyclonus, Sixshot, and the Sweeps exited. He looked at the remaining flying Decepticons assembled there.

"Join the Sweeps, Starscream. Onslaught's strike force will follow."

Bending his knees slightly before leaping into the air and transforming into his huge ray-gun mode, Shockwave hovered as he waited for Onslaught's force to arrive in the Hangar.

This cycle...the Autobot Sentinel falls.

Jadewind's fingers raced along the keyboard of the console she was sitting in front of, and her optics followed every bit of data passed down the screen. She was just about finishing pre-setting coordinates and estabilishing a solid data layout of the Omega Sentinel and its surroundings, which can be easily transmitted to and received and interpreted by any Transformer's processing units.

As she punched button after button a surveillance screen caught her attention, the assigned units moving out for their mission in display on it.

Jadewind, connecting to the tower's vast communications array, sent a transmission to Ghost.

>> You up there yet, spy boy? We've got some flight patterns to assemble, pronto. << She said, her tone even, but more authoritative and her voice less whiny than usual.

Above Shockwave's Tower - Upper stratosphere

Ghost had refueled fully and was already out of the hanger, not by Starscream or Cyclonus’s orders but by the tactical senses of an unseen entity that had been guiding him from the beginning of this mission. No one had seen him leave as he had been in full stealth and was careful not to verbally answer his unseen advisor. He hovered at About fifty klicks up, at the edge of the stratosphere safely out of weapons range, watching as Cyclonus and his drones left the hanger. Like a cloud of insects they flew. Ghost sneered internally, what was the advantage behind so many mindless wastes of metal parts. Sure they were much easier to send to their deaths but without someone to command them they were nothing. Nothing more than mere machines. A spark was what made a Transformer a Transformer, the same as the entities that spoke to Ghost from the darkness. And no one understood this better than the invisible seeker.

“This will be something” he said to the spirit beside him.

Suddenly Jadewind’s voice came across his communicator. He chuckled had he been in robot mode he would have grinned. But then again he was in stealth so no one would see it anyhow. His unseen comrade made a comment.

‘I know Jade is working at her best, I wasn’t going to antagonize her. Though you know I would love to ……….. Fine, your right she is as skilled as a seeker can get in her specialty. You got any suggestions before I answer her? OK then I’ll just give her the info.”

He looked out over what came to be known as the Killzone as he answered the Battle Coordinator..

>>Copy that, Jadewind, we’re up at about fifty klicks. I can see everything. The bot is moving at a slowed pace through cluster 1499, northeast Sector 905, he seems to be headed for Cluster 0987. Or at least between them. I just saw The drones head out. Followed by Sixshot. They appear to be vector 25.25 by 747.0 by 2010. I don’t see Screamer or the Coneheads yet. I’ll give you the 4-1-1 on the ground troops as soon as I have a range on them. Video feed is being sent as we speak. Transmission again in two Breems. Ghost out.<<

Ghost turned to Choker.
“Was that professional enough for you? ………. No I doubt I would have ever been assigned to your sector but thanks for the complement I guess.”

Ghost silently hovered in his alt mode awaiting the movements of the other cons.

Shockwave's Tower - Outer high ledge

Silver heard Shockwave’s transmission, but stayed quietly perched atop the tower. She did not see Ghost ascend into the heavens. Her optics were drawn to the movements of the squadrons below. Cyclonus flew with ample grace as he lead a swarm of sweeps from the hanger, Sixshot behind them. She would move when Rapture called her, as she would have no trouble positioning herself wherever directed. She would be ready before one could blink a shutter. For now she sat unnoticed taking everything in and analyzing it .

Bane silently slipped in without being seen. He went straight to a surgery room in the far back, holding his severed arm with his healthy one. His optics had begun glowing more and more lately. A sickly green'ish light radiated from them, though the stare was empty.

He began, with the help of the sophisticated surgery-machinery, to place him arm back. After a breem or two, he was again 100% functional and exited the Medic Bay just as silent as he entered it.

Shockwave's Tower - Armory

<<"Yes he would!">> Thrall replied. No need to be a shrink to see he was keeping all his anger and frustration under control - barely. The old gladiator was maybe a bit naive, but he had a far closer bond to Bane than any of the other Corrupticons had. After all, they had been a team long long before the actual Corrupticon unit was formed.

<<"We got a fight ahead">> Thrall couldn't wait to get to slag something. To get rid of the rage that had been building up inside him the last few breems.

Shockwave's Tower - Hangar Bay

Quantum began preparing himself for the upcoming battle, in case he and his unit was required at the frontlines. In his early days he would have been pissed at not being pointed as one of them who was in the initial strike team. But now he was a veteran of hundreds, if not thousands of battles, and he was now more patient. He would get his fair share of combat soon enough... and to some degree he was a bit tired of the constant combat missions he was send out to, so sitting back as a reserve this time was a welcome change.

Triggerhappy snapped out of his daze just in time to hear Shockwave issue him an order.
"Um, will do boss" He said, sounding unsure. "Come on Astrotrain lets go."
With that Triggerhappy checked he had plenty of ammo, something he hadn't bothered to do for ages, and then transformed.

"Copy that," Was all Jadewind replied to Ghost. Instead of starting a quarrel of any kind, she resumed typing on the keyboard in front of her placing the incoming bits along the calculated vectors and data layout.

She was estabilishing it in a way that, if uninterruptedly transmitted to any Transformer's navigation systems they could navigate almost entirely blindly, without the need for confirmation from their own visual sensors, with plain vectors and constantly adjusted coordinates appearing in their processing units. Of course, such a way of navigation was slower and more limited than natural visual perception, but it could very well mean the difference between life and death.

Opening a channel, again amplified by the towers arrays, she began forwarding the "vector map" to Cyclonus, Starscream and their squadrons.

>> Data transfer commencing, << She said, her tone even. As she pressed the final keys on the board, the ones on the receiveing end of the transmission could "see" navigational points and targets moving before they appeared in their visual field.

Shockwave's Tower - Armory

Upon receiving the signal from the master of Polyhex, Onslaught secured the last of his munitions sharply. He made no reply, as he was quite certain that it was neither necessary nor required for him to do so. Instead, the bulky Combaticon turned to his attack team and raised his hand in order to gain the attention of the members of his attack team.

"Decepticons, to the Hangar Bay," he ordered. "We move out at once." Onslaught's stride was brisk but by no means hurried as he moved to depart the Armory. He offered one last nod to Razorclaw, fully anticipating that the businesslike Predacon would be quite capable of marshalling his own forces without the need for extensive input from him.

Shockwave's Tower - Main Hangar

"At once, your Monocularness," Starscream replied dryly as Shockwave arrived fast upon Cyclonus' heels and issued his directives. He wondered if there might not be some kind of programming flaw in the processing systems of the High Command that made it impossible for them to communicate without recourse to the imperative. One could catch more scraplets with energon than with used hydraulic fluid, after all. But before he could pose that particular question, the ponderous purple poltroon had already assumed his graceless, laughably oversized ray-gun mode and taken off.

Small matter. He and his squadrons could catch up easily. Perhaps fly a few rings around him and really drive home the advantages of an air frame that actually adhered to the simple rules of aerodynamics.

"Seekers!" he proclaimed gallantly, leaping into the air. "I'm expecting great things from you this orn. Do try not to let me down. More importantly, make certain you do not let yourselves down. There's more at stake here than just my ego." Although, admittedly, Starscream's ego was probably the most important thing.

"To battle!" he commanded jubilantly, shifting in mid-air to his sleek Tetrajet mode and rocketing from the hangar.

A moment after the departure of the Seeker Commander, Onslaught arrived in the hangar. Aside from a nod of recognition for Rapture, he paid very little mind to the Decepticon forces that remained. There were far more pressing concerns on his mind than socializing. Without fanfare, he assumed his alternate form--that of a heavy missile trailer--and roared out into the broad highways of Polyhex.

>>Ground attack team, proceed to Sector 905. Hold your fire until my signal.<<

Great. Here we rush to our deaths. Primus be our guide, I want to get back alive. Dirge thought as he leaped to the air and transformed into a tetrajet not much different from Starscream himself. Instead of heading out instantly to follow Starscream, Dirge waited whole squadron of the seeker commander to move out before him. Behind the midnight blue seeker Ramjet and Thrust followed his example and transformed, at least Ramjet clearly far more enthualistic to rocket out.

>>"Time to act like professionals now. No showboating. No soloing. This is a team effort. We'll drive that Sentinel out. We have to."<< Dirge transmitted his wingmates as he began slowly slide across the air out of the hangar, before finally igniting his thrusters and charging off to the skies above Polyhex.

Shockwave's Tower - Main Hangar

Rapture knew signals. Though it had been a long time since she could truly call herself a Cassetticon, she was Soundwave's creation nonetheless. And that honor came with at least a basic knowledge of all forms of communication employed on Cybertron.

So it puzzled her momentarily when she noticed that Jadewind was broadcasting an encrypted signal to the tower's comm array, but the CAP was not the receiver. Being a bright femme, it only took her a few astroseconds to figure out that the assault group must be the beneficiaries of Jadewind's expertise. A good idea, Rapture admitted inwardly. Well, mustn't let the little egomaniac think her initiative goes unnoticed. After all, she's been a good sport thus far.

The midnight seeker opened a channel to her newly well-behaved sister. she began rhetorically. The Subcommander was careful to keep her tone cool. She did not want to overplay the part.

Addressing the group at large in a calm, authoritative voice, she issued her orders. "All right. Combat Air Patrol, let's go. Until Jadewind says otherwise, I want a standard wedge formation on my wingmen. Remember, this is a recon detail, Seekers. Report any new Autobot contact, but DO NOT ENGAGE unless fired upon." Rising into the air, Rapture's squadron transformed, and left the hangar.

Opening a several channels before she had even cleared the doors, Rapture contacted several members of the CAP.

As the rest of the CAP fell into formation, the Wing Leader contacted the Battle Coordinator.

(OOC: I wrote this post under the assumption that the CAP will fall into formation as ordered. I do not mean to imply control over others' chars.)

Already, the thrill of the hunt was beginning to course through Razroclaw's circuitry. He had been patient and waited. Because of that, a prey worthy of their collective efforts had finally made itself available to them. It was an opportunity that he would not take lightly. He had every confidence that his fellow warlords would not do so either.

In the hangar...

Traveling the relatively short distance from the armory to the hangar, Razorclaw offers no acknowledgement to the other Decepticon forces present. His mind is already focused on the task hand, imagining battlegrounds, field layouts and potential Sentinel responses.

"Alright! Let's get..." Tantrum says brashly, entering shortly after Razorclaw with the other Predacons likely not too far behind either. Realizing that his team leader was not in the midts of bellowing orders, Tantrum also quiets down, instead choosing to wait and see what their orders from this point would be.

Razorclaw, for his part, would simply watch and see how the forces were dispersed from this location. He would make adjustments to his own team's dismissal from there if necessary.

Shockwave's Tower--Corridors

Rampage had given the barest nod as Razorclaw had indicated that they should leave. He followed without hesitation and said nothing as he walked. Rampage wasn't that bothered about what Razorclaw intended as long as he got to do what he wanted to.

In the hangar

Rampage wandered in the hangar looking compleatly uninterested in the goings on of the other decepticons as he did so; after all it mattered not to him.

He ignored Tantrum's brash comment as usual though a rather psycopathic gleam was in his optics as if barely restrained; he wanted to go now rather than sit about and wait. He was a mech of immediate action and not one of patience. Yet he did so because Rampage could understand the importance of it in order to catch his prey...but that didn't mean that he had to like it.

Shockwave's Tower - Armory

"Nightraid and Scramble. Are you ready?" the black and white seeker asked his two wingmen. Quantum had himself just finished with refueling and re-arming himself in preperation for the upcoming battle. But right now they needed to establish a defense perimeter around the outer limits of Polyhex. He presumed that his squadron would be the spearhead of the second assault wave, if that was the plan.

The sky around Shockwave's Tower

>>"Dirge, Dirge... if someone has to do it why not the greatest force our planet has to offer, eyh? Besides we don't have to anything, we'll just *do* it." Thrust commented back while catching up to Dirge and Ramjet, sliding through the air upside down until taking his position in the delta formation.

Although the disconcerting feeling was slowly creeping up his exoskeleton higher and higher as well, it's not like the seeker armada and the rest of the forces allocated into the battle would be able to lose to one Autobot. Now how could they? Although he wasn't as ready to paint suicidal thoughts on the walls like Dirge, he did admire Ramjet's ability to be as ignorant as he was in the situtation. Just a little bit.

Shockwave's Tower ~ Armory

>>"Indeed"<< Havok replied, shrugging his shoulders at the same time. It seemed that Thrall was still seeing Bane as who he used to be, rather than what he was becoming. Regardless, now was not the time to discuss the finer intricacies of the Black Death's intentions towards, and loyalty to, his fellow Corrupticons. Without another word being said, the dark grey Corrupticon exited the armory heading for the hangar, and the biggest challenge he, and most likely all the other Decepticons gathered, had ever faced.

Shockwave's Tower ~ Hangar Bay

Arriving shortly after the Predacons, Havok grunted in dismay at the order to move out onto the highway. He didn't particularly care for his alt mode, it was effective in what it did he couldn't deny that, but he did much prefer to disable his foes in robot mode. However, faced with a journey on the Polyhex highways, travelling in robot mode would be too slow, so covering the ground in his Cerberus alt mode was an unavoidable necessity.

As he transformed and began walking over to the exit, the dark grey Corrupticon paused as he looked around for Thrall. They may have had differing opinions over Bane, but Havok knew when the time came, he could count on Thrall more than any other Decepticon, and he needed someone like that now more than ever before. Not wanting to delay any more, Havok set off after the others who had already left, sure that Thrall wouldn't be too far behind.

Above Shockwave's Tower - Upper stratosphere

In the seriousness of the situation Ghost had silenced the voices, they had agreed to wait until the battle was over. He needed to concentrate. The invisible seeker acknowledged only one spirit, who hovered close by watching the action unfold. Ghost sent another video feed to Jadewind as the remaining teams headed out. He caught a glimpse of a silver figure descending from the tower spire.
“Now there’s an oddity for you……”

He spoke as Silverstrike leaped from the tower.
“I swear sometimes she behaves like an Autobot, can’t be a good thing……. And to top it off she answers to Thunderwing. I’m surprised rapture placed her in her squadron………………….”

Ghost stopped a very long pause in his dialect. This spirit was more than he had ever delft with before. Never in his career could Ghost remember speaking so much to one mech. Mostly because all other cons found him eerie and avoided him.
“…….Yes I suppose our new second knows what she is doing.”

Outside Hanger area

Silverstrike smiled as Seeker commander’s squadron came into visual range followed by the second Squadron, their tetrajet forms gliding through the air. It meant the Decepticons had made their move. As in a game of chess, many were pawns. Silver understood this well. It was the Decepticon way. She lifted her gaze to the position of the guardian. Soon the air would be burning with laser fire. ……… but then again a pawn can check the king. Her thoughts were interrupted by Rapture’s hail.

>>As you wish, Rapture.>Onslaught, This is Blitzwing. I seem to have missed a hell of a lot. You want me to catch up with your ground crew? I could fly out to you in less than a breem.<<

As he sent the message the Triplechanger hurried to refill his ammunition and shell stores. Then quickly returned to the hanger. He was not about to be left behind again. As he waited he looked briefly at the sky …. Was that Shockwave? ….. he had missed a lot.
