Being more than happy to break away from the deadly Autobot giant to more... secure distances, Dirge couldn't avoid agreeing with Starscream for once. Rather curiously though Starscream didn't order them to go replenish their bomb payload. Perhaps the seeker commander did not want to step in toes of Shockwave, perhaps there was something else behind it. It didn't matter that much to Dirge right now. >>"Agreed."<<

Before Dirge managed to rely Starscream's orders to his wingmen, Ramjet already was questioning his motives.

>>"Thrust is right. We are to withdraw using the vector map I am forwarding to you. We will soon start with hit and run attacks against the guardian with what we have left..."<< Dirge's transmission died out as the midnight blue seeker had to take evasive manouvers as Omega Supreme began generating a distraction of his own.

>>"Looks like the Sentinel is trying to withdraw. Permission to pursue until the point of safe return. We do not need to endanger ourself with enemy anti-aircraft fire, nor we will have much time either before it is moving too fast for us to follow."<< Dirge transmitted to his wingmen, took a sharp turn and fired few shots at the withdrawing Omega Sentinel when he still could.

Sky's over sector 905

As Skyshroud was waiting for a reply from Starscream or Dirge he noticed that the Guardian had transformed and was retreating. Instantly knowing that he couldn't let the Guardian Robot get away, Skyshroud took off after him ready for battle. As he came upon the Robot he launched his air to air missiles slowed down and maintained a steady distance bettween him self and Omega Supreme.

Skies Over Sector 905

"The big sissy is turning and running!" Dunehopper howled with glee as he saw Omega Supreme transform into his enormous rocket mode and take flight.

In an atmosphere, it was likely that the Seekers could keep up with the huge Autobot, but even the pugnacious Dunehopper wondered if that would be worth the effort. His own arsenal was designed more for air-to-ground assault, and most of the other Seekers didn't even carry as formidable firepower as Dunehopper did. Still...if Starscream gave the word, Dunehopper would do his damnedest to bring the Sentinel down, and he would smile the whole way there. He watched as Skyshroud sent air-to-air missiles after the Sentinel, and chuckled.

"Hey man, nice shot!" he laughed. "At least you rookies have got big dreams!"

An alarm went off in his head as he neared the PSR. Normally he wouldn't give two microchips about going right into the PSR and going into Nova Cronum's airspace, but now was the time to follow Starscream's orders to the tee and make sure the Seeker commander noticed his good deeds. He piped up on the comm line.

>>"We hittin' him again, boss?">"Hold your positions, Decepticons," the military coordinator ordered. He offered some slight praise. "Well done."<< It was enough; the Decepticons had executed their orders faithfully and efficiently, but none had particular shined to warrant further accolades. No need to waste additional words or energy broadcasting a longer message. Looking to Onslaught and Razorclaw, he spoke to the special teams commanders.

"Orchestrate a tactical withdrawal to the Tower," he commanded. "Megatron will be pleased."

His statement was neutral, no hint of joy or displeasure in Shockwave's tone. It was mere statement of fact. As to whether the military commander even cared about Megatron's feelings on the matter, that was a mystery.

The black and white seeker started to accelerate again, pursuing the giant rocket that had fled from their swift and destructive bombardment. He was not sure the seekers would be able to reach it in time to do enough damage.

> Quantum's radar was superior to most seekers', but it had its limitations, especially against such a fast object as the fleeing behemoth. With Jadewind's data, he hoped to be able to shorten the distance between them by opening a wormhole at a certain moment, but it needed more accurate information than his radar would be able to give him.

Upper Stratosphere over Shockwave’s Tower

Ghost snorted as Omega retreated. There was not much he could do to assist his fellow fliers at the moment. He continued to send the rest of the video and data to Jadewind. He figured she could use it to some tactical planning advantage later. His tetrajet form hovered silently as he recorded his fellow seekers in pursuit of the giant autobot.

“ Looks like your girl deiced to take some action.”

Ghost spoke to the unseen voice who had been with him since the beginning of the battle. Lucky for the transparent seeker no one was up there to hear him, or they would have thought he was talking to himself again.

Shockwave’s signal came across his communicator. He highly doubted anyone but Jade even remembered he was up there.

Sector 905

Blitzwing growled in disappointment as Omega Flew away. He was almost tempted to transform into jet mode and chase him down, but decided against it. He really did not feel like playing nice with the seekers.

“What do you want to do Onslaught?”

As soon as the words had left his mouth Shockwave’s command came across to them.

“Well I guess that answers my question.”

Blitzwing waited for Onslaught to signal the team back.

Skies over Sector 905

Silverstrike would have gritted her teeth had she not been in alt mode. It was completely embarrassing that she had nothing to throw at the giant, well nothing compared to everyone else. She carried only standard seeker lasers with no real artillery. And when Rapture, Thundercracker and Skywarp surged forward for the offensive, the argent jet held back. She would only be in the way. Though she could dodge any fire be it friendly or foe, with little effort, she just could not see the point of hindering their actions. Then again she could have transformed and pulled out her sword, but that was like beating a mountain with a stick. She watched their first pass with a slight feeling of pride in the beauty of their movements. One could see they made a fine squadron. They came around for a second pass and this time Silver sighed with a slight hint of jealousy mixed with remorse. Why couldn’t she behave? If she had held her tongue Thunderwing would have completed her weapons system.

Then Shockwave’s voice filled her com link. Though the powerful commander gave an order and seemed satisfied with their performance. Silver opted to wait for Rapture. The glossy femme had offered her assistance to the seekers, but in the end answered to Thunderwing.

Sector 905

As Bludgeon continued to apply focussed fire with the groundtroops, he had transformed into tankmode suddenly, something he rarely did and then unleashed shot after shot of pure piercing beams of energy.
The purple and green tank continued it's attack until suddenly Omega Supreme transported and seemed to be leaving.
Bludgeon continued to fire seeing new weak points in this altmode... flaws in the armor.
And then the titanic Omega Supreme lifted off and escaped from Bludgeon's range and that of many of his comrades.
"New orders Lord Onslaught?" came the low grim voice of the Master of Metalikato over the comm, he transformed back into robotmode, sword at his side. He held the special cannon he had been using in robotmode before.

Skies over Sector 905

Nightraid received orders and as Quantum reacted so did he, pursuing his foe.
"Affirmative" he said.

He had kept an eye on the position of the other Seekers. And Silverstrike due his attention. He'd been curious to see her perform in action after the short exchange they'd had. But she didn't seem to do anything whatsoever.
Was there a mechanical problem? Orders to hold back? Or did she suffer from cowardice? He hoped it wasn't the latter as that would be... a dissapointment.

Regardless there was no time to ponder these matters as in the end it didn't matter. He accelerated as good as he could and unleashed another volley towards Omega Supreme, keeping an eye on his own location as ending up within range of the enemy defenses was something he wished to avoid.

Turbulence cursed himself inwardly for not properly using his cyclone missiles. If he had target the guardian's leg base he might have kept the omega sentinel grounded. As lofty a goal as it would seem now, he fired two of these same missiles toward the base of the first stage rocket, in the hopes of mitigating his mistakes.

Nimbly arcing away from the line of his own fired missiles, the blue and bronze warrior accelerated trying to overtake the rocket that was OmegaSupreme and not get caught in the wake of his own arsenal's localized cyclonic strength of a F-5 class hurricane. With his speed surpassing Mach 2, the sword wielding seeker hoped it would be enough.

>>"Now your singing my tune Dirge! It's carpet bombing time!"
As the colossal autobot created a diversion with the structures around, Reforge new something was up. "Mechs that size don't waste there movements."

Sure enough OmegaSupreme began his transformation. The Sweep technician dove to aid the drones caught in the rubble as his remaining null bomb and a precision laser would do little in slowing the fabled 'last line of defense'.

Seeing a massive Autobot such as Omega Supreme flee had engaged all of Razorclaw's natural, predatory instincts. He had given pursuit and follow up fire inasmuch as it was possible, hoping to land every blow possible to further wound the massive mechanoid. It was all too likely that the other Predacons had felt similarly. Only when the order to hold positions had come through did the Predacon Commander's higher functioning resume control over his actions.

>>"Predacons--regroup.<<

Transforming from his drill tank mode, Razorclaw stands atop a mound of metallic debris, surveying the other Decepticon forces in the area. Divebomb was already fast closing on his position. He suspected that it would not be long before the others joined him.

Putting away his blade, Razorclaw could not help but feel a mixture of satisfaction and disappointment. Victory had been achieved. Against a sentient Omega Sentinel, that was nothing to be slighted. It had elicited praise from the notoriously short-spoken Military Operations Commander. Even so, the target had not been neutralized altogether. The fact that it had escaped went against Razorclaw's every natural, predatory drive. Nothing was more satisfying than a fallen opponent.

"It functions for another orn," Divebomb says as he approaches Razorclaw, now in his robot mode as well.

"It's time is limited. It is a relic of an age gone by. The last of its kind. It will inevitably face its own extinction.

"Prepare to withdraw."

Sector 905

Those around the Decepticon Heap felt a rush of heat, and then a pulsing lance of scarlet energy fired from his Sustained Laser into the Guardian, followed closely by six medium sized ballistic missiles. Heap came from an older breed; Decepticons' built around the same time as he, especially ground based combatants, were always armed to the teeth and nearly always had their weapon systems integrated into their chassis, such as with Shockwave or Megatron. While his Sustained Laser was cooling for another shot and his missile rack was reloading, Heap looses several clips' worth of ammunition from his hood mounted ballistic rifle. The rifle rounds might as well have been harsh language against the tough, enormous Omega Supreme, but Heap was not one to sit idle when he could be at least attempting to contribute.

Rampage had been more than meerly peeved when Omega had fled all parts of his mind and psycopathic nature were crying out at him to follow; to hunt and to kill. Still his higher CPU functions restrained this at a simple command from Razorclaw and the knowledge that Razorclaw was one person he must obey. Even if he didn't feel like it.

Still placing his rifle back where it belonged he transformed and raced back to where the rest of the Predacons would be assembling he skidded to a halt as he reached them and looked almost questioningly at his commander before going back to his state of silence and tail twitching to show just how much he yearned to finish what had been started.

Sky's over Polyhex, near PSR

Skyshroud looked on helplessly as the Guardian neared the PSR, then he saw something that made him perk up, the Aerialbots! It looked as if they would be covering the Guardian's flank as he ran away.

Knowing that he was not to cross the PSR Skyshroud still flew towards the imaginary line, as if threatening the Aerialbots, daring them to come closer waiting for one of his superiors to order his retreat.

Heap had transformed, and the smirk he was wearing quickly died when he heard the comm from Onslaught cut off and spotted the falling building. Putting two and two together, Heap took to the air and flew the short distance to the rubble, hitting his comm Commander Onslaught, please respond. I say again: respond.

As soon as his feet were on the ground, Heap grabbed the largest chunk of rubble and tossed it behind him, scooping up another chunk before activating his comm on a Decepticon-wide frequency All Decepticon units, this is Security Officer Heap of the ground attack force. Have lost all contact with Commander Onslaught. Location unknown; possible KIA. Requesting emergency rescue and medical forces ASAP on my position.

Heap did not know the state of his commanding officer, but he had to assume the worst. Luckily, he was no slouch when it came to pure lifting strength, even in his perpetual state of disrepair. He pushes another large chunk of foundation aside and digs deeper into the pile.

SEctor 905

As Blitzwing was speaking to Onslaught he transformed into robot mode and was in mid step when the structure collapsed on top of the Combaticon leader, knocking the Triplechanger on his aft. Blitz let out an undignified oooof as he landed.

Apparently Heap was on top of things as the fellow con skimmed overhead and landed by the rubble. Blitz ducked as a chunk flew past his cranial. The security officer then proceeded to send out a distress signal asking for assistance.
Blitzwing got up and ducked again as another chunk just missed him. Onslaught was a tough mech. Blitz doubted the rubble had killed him, perhaps dented and crushed but no … not dead.
Blitz cast a quick glance at Bludgeon and the two Corrupticons, then came up beside Heap.

“ He’s a tough one, I doubt a little rubble like this will set him back much.”

Blitz lifted a rusted support beam and moved it aside.

“He was more towards the front, or at least he was when I started walking over to him.”

Blitzwing was optimistic; it did him no benefit to get upset. But he considered the backlash it would cause to loose Onslaught. He was a decent commander and Blitz had come to like the guy. Seeing him scrapped was not at the top of the purple commando’s list.

“Slag! Slag it all!”

Blitz had caught a piece of his armor in the rubble and in her movements he had torn a good sized chunk of it away. Great Onslaught was under a couple tons of razor sharp charr.

The Master of Metalikato nodded at Blitzwing's comment but spoke not as the small swordmaster began to remove pieces of rubble. It would be a waste if Onslaught perished like this...

Sky's over Sector 905- nearing PSR

As the blue and bronze seeker drew closer to the multi-tier Autobot rocket, he fired his torque turret upon broken armour sections of the 1st stage, just beyond the claw. Turbulence briefly flew nosecone to nosecone with the guardian, just long enough to realise Omega supreme was indeed the faster and gaining speed. Ever closing on the PSR line, his options were quite limited.

"At this range my missiles are a useless liability... but my plasmabombs have got to count for something." the tetrajet quickly surmised as he transformed to warrior mech.

Drawing his sonic saber, the seeker swordmech braced his frame against the relic Guardian with it. Despite great wind resistance, Turbulence retrieved one of his plasma bombs from above his shoulders. With explosive in hand, the valiant warrior strived to plunge the weapon in the same crevice his blade resided. As he nearly completed his task, a series of bombs, not in his hands, went off casting him from his hardly secured position.

The seeker slammed against the third stage rocket of Omega Supreme, being sucked in by the wind tunnel of the guardian's increasing speed, then was hit by a high beam laser rifle, and ejected by the wake of the sentinel's propulsion.

Turbulence freefell for a moment, unaware of the events that brought him to this point, before instinctively righting himself. The blue and bronze warrior then impacted with the debris of a city structure long abandoned through the ravages of war. This was more in effect to a crash rather than a safe landing.

It took a moment for the seeker to reboot his systems yet again. Surveying his surrounding, the elite warrior knew he was close to PSR line; but which side of it, he could not say.

Ramjet would smile if he wasn't in his jet alt. As he viewed the pepper smoked explosions of his handy work, Omega didn't exactly look any worse for wear. He didn't care. The conehead opted to fire his high beam laser rifles into the smoking area as he still had ammo to spare.

>>Better launch 'em if you got 'em boys. This petro-chicken is running home to roost!

Sector 905- wreckage near Polyhex

Reforge managed to help two sweeps out of the wreckage, yet another drone still remained. It was then when he heard the call from Heap regarding the ground commander Onslaught. The long time aerial cormech never truly cared much for the land based warriors, there ranking echelon included. Sure Megatron technically wasn't a flier himself, but prior to his own sweep reconstruction Reforge has peaked at blue prints of a jet configuration for the slag-maker from Tarn.

Casting his optics in the direction of Heap's distant position, the sinister surgeon slowly weighed the value of the missing sweep drone against the missing Combaticon leader, and decided. "If they want me to leave a fellow sweep to rot, let Cyclonus order me... or better yet, have Onslaught file a form."

Changing his focus back to his pack, Reforge easily began cutting away at the wreckage before him, using his head mounted precision laser, in search for the last downed sweep.

Near PSR

Because the reflective female had held back she was privileged to a full view of Turbulence’s mishap. She was fast but her skills would not have proven precise enough to help him. Silver cringed as she watched him slam into the debris below. As she wondered if Quantum was aware of his wingman’s plight Heap’s call for assistance echoed in her receptors. Silverstrike made a choice, the ground crews were preoccupied with Onslaught and the Air strike and CAP were in pursuit of the Omega guardian. Silver was at the moment un-engaged. Perhaps once again she would be accused of thinking like an Autobot, but that had become a tiresome taunt. If she did not behave like a seeker than so be it, they were loosing nothing by her indifference to their bickering and political games.

>> Quantum, this is Silverstrike. Your wingman is down, I have his coordinates. (she sends them with the transmission) I’m descending now to see if he’s still functioning.> Rapture, seeker down. I’m en-route to assess the damage.<<
Even if what she was doing was without orders at least she would still show her squadron leader the respect she deserved.

The blue and bronze male seeker was indeed right on top of the PSR line, Silver was at a bad angle to see exactly if he had crossed or not. If he had she would deal with it on the ground. The Autobots would taste her blade if they harassed her.

The silver angel transformed before making ground contact. Touching down lightly she scanned the battle ravaged base line. A tinge of relief hit her as she spotted her fellow flier. She approached him at a careful walk stepping over a menagerie of shrapnel and debris.

Turbulence, are you hurt? Can you move?”

She was now close enough to see his face, her optics gave off a dull icy glow as she assessed him visually. Males tended to deny their pain in front of a femme but Silver was not in the mood for a game of who is tougher. They were too close to the danger zone, too close to the Autobots. Reflections from the laser fire over head danced across her mirror like body.

<<"Jadewind?">> Quantum's request had not been answered and he decided to commence with his daring plan. About the same time, he received a message from one of the other seekers, Silverstrike, who was heading towards his falling wingman.

<<"Affirmative, Silverstrike. Bring him home.">>

"This is our last chance before he is past the PSR" the black and white seeker said to Nightraid and any nearby brothers and sisters. A second later a portal opened in front of the squadron leader as well as near the guardian. With swift determination, Quantum entered the portal and re-appeared close enough to be in firing range.

As SkyShroud was racing after the Guardian, A Black and White Seeker popped up in front of him. He instantly recognized the seeker as Quantum.

He quickly swerved around his fellow seeker as he went in for a final run before Omega reaches the PSR, launching his remaining missiles as fast as he could fire them. Skyshroud suddenly turns himself invisible and continues the attack, if this is to be his last run he is going to do it in style.

"Boss, BOSS!!!" Swindle unhitched the munitions sled he'd been nursing for the ammo-hungry bombardment team, and trundled to the site of the Combaticon Leader's dissappearance, almost tipping over twice in his haste.

"Don't do this to us Boss, you know the team doesn't like being scared like this". Swindle prattled on as he dug, his retreival claws carefully lifting the more dangerous pieces of wreckage aside. "Remember how Vortex got when you got hit by a shell a decacycle back, how choked up he was? You want to put him throu .....heeey, is this a Positron Applet Converter I see before me? Yoink!!!". The tit-bit dissappears into one of Swindle's many subspace pockets in less time than an optic can refresh.

Leaving Polyhex airspace

Omega Supreme roared away from Polyhex, the various attempts to bring him down barely affecting the giant Autobot.

<hr>
Sector 905

Cyclonus watched as the massive Autobot transformed and fled the battlefield. He briefly considered following him, but quickly dismissed the idea. While he could probably keep up with the Autobot he doubted whether he could do enough damage to bring him down, definitely not before he returned to the shelter of the Autobot lines.

He did observe the various seekers scrambling to shoot down the Autobot. It didn’t particularly surprise them. From what he had seen each of them was more interested in his personal glory than the greater good of the Empire. The attitude was embodied by their commander Starscream who was one of the ones charging after him. He would have to have a talk with the seeker when he returned. They were Decepticons, not gloryhounds or scavengers looking to take the biggest piece of a weakened foe.

Cyclonus circled the battlefield, observing the Decepticons as they moved back to Shockwave’s tower. His attention was drawn to the building collapsing on Onslaught. The other Decepticon had proven valuable in this mission and would likely prove the same in the future. His loss would not be acceptable. The situation could also prove an interesting test for the new drones as well.

The air commandant transformed and landed near where the Combaticon had been buried, the Sweeps following suit. “Sweeps, recover Onslaught as intact as possible.” He felt it best to be specific lest the drones get the wrong idea and bring him out in pieces. The Decepticon drones replied and began scouring the area. With their tracking abilities they quickly focused their efforts on a central point and began digging and rummaging through the wreckage.

Sector 905

Rapture's squadron peeled back from their last run against the Omega Sentinel. The enemy giant was well past the PSR now. Telemetry showed the Autobot forces were escorting it beyond the Maximus Line itself. Mission Accomplished.

The former Cassetticon received a transmission from Silverstrike. She had heard the argent femme was a bit soft, but thus far Rapture had observed the Metallikato mistress to be a model air warrior. The midnight femme would certainly be keeping an optic on her older counterpart.

<Acknowledged, Silver. Bring our mech back.>

It was time to head in. Opening a general channel, the Seeker subcommander contacted the Combat Air Patrol.

<Attention CAP! We're done here, Decepticons. Quantum. You and Nightraid escort Silverstrike and Turbulence in. The rest of you, reform on Commander Starscream's wing immediately. I want precision, mechanoids. Command is watching. Rapture out.>

The Trio banked as one, opening the throttle. They quickly reached Starscream's position. The three Seeker veterans fell into formation on their leader's eight. Opening a secure channel, Rapture contacted her superior.

<Sir. CAP has been recalled. No Autobot incursion from Nova. Request permission to bring the CAP back to base.>

Near PSR

Turbulence imagined flowing through a lake of mercury much like the one from his cycle before joining the war. There were protoforms laughing, and playing about; even his brother was there. Everything seemed peaceful, perfect even. He leaned back in the silvery lake and enjoyed the view. Then his frame began to sink with in the mirroring liquid, as he heard a voice call him from his lost paradise.

As his optics flickered attempting to recalibrate, the blue and bronze warrior saw quite a vision before him. Seemingly, the lake of liquid mercury had taken a mechanoid form; its frame, while resembling his own seeker mold, was decidedly femme in design. Internally cursing Primus that even in deactivation, and within the Allspark, his sensory programs could betray him. He could soon process what this silver siren calling him was saying. "...I guess I'm still functional then..."

Turbulence felt a slight warmth with in his left chest compartment. He almost smiled, upon his optics correcting his sight, but immediately felt a slag formed cinder through his back and right leg. Although the view had significantly improved, so did his registering of pain. The sword wielding seeker gritted his teeth as he tried to answer Silverstrike based off his internal system's diagnostic. His voice came out raspy and contorted, quite a departure from his somewhat gruff norm.

"My back took... the brunt of a bomb... before my weapon's bay... was breached..." he tried to get up, using his sword for support, but only managed to sit upright with far more pain etched across his features. "The rest, likely just came with the landing." his cynicism remained intact.

"I doubt I can transform in this state of disrepair, but the cycle I can't fly my own chassis off the battle field..." With mech fluid flowing, and frame wobbling, he rose only to stagger against the debris for support, "they'ld better use my parts to upgrade those who can."

The elite warrior was in fact letting on about his remaining injuries. Despite his reinforced armor and sturdy frame design, Turbulence was indeed fortunate to be functioning at all. Let alone standing.

"So.. did the sentinel fall?" his warrior's processor couldn't see a fellow seeker disengage the enemy for his own sake, and he doubted this curvaceously chromed seeker was a designated medic. There was also that constant adage, Decepticon's don't harbor the weak, a creed forged into his spark by the seeker whom forged his very frame. With his pain refusing to subside, Turbulence reprocessed this creed, as if a mantra, permitting the anguish to wash over his frame and renew his focus.

While awaiting Silvestrike's reply, Turbulence noticed her reflective frame made it easy for him to see the severity of his external damage; Not that he minded the surface view either.

Reforge had just pulled the last drone out as he noted Cyclonus descending to were Onslaught was buried in debri. Already the drones began their migration to the Air Commandant, including the damaged ones just rescued, as If summoned. One would think Cyclonus did not need to beckon his pack yet mearly process the command for the sweeps to obey. Reforge somewhat in awe by this aspect of his superior decided to heed the call himself.

As the sweep technician arrived, he heard the words of Cyclonus directed toward the drones. The armored aerial medic mold over the though of this being a direct command to himself, surely it would prove a small task for him to cut the combaticon's chassis free.

No, there was one thing Reforge learned of his leader upon becoming a sweep himself, the pack must prove there worth. The con coremech had, otherwise he wouldn't be in his current frame, but the sweep drones have hardly been field tested. While reluctant to presume to know the thoughts Cyclonus, Reforge stood by within respectable range of his superior, in the event his talents were required for the land based commander.

Looking into the wreckage, there was little love lost over a ground alt that fired weapons into his airspace, risking seeker and sweep alike, only to strike where his bombs and missiles could already reach. The former seeker then looked at his frame, realising he was no longer equiped to make such a claim. Still, air superiorty has been the warhorse of the Decepticon forces; it mattered little to the minted Sweep medic should they loose a ground troop. Even if Blast off and Vortex would vouch for the combaticon leader.

Reforge knew not to show descention to Cyclonus, even if reluctant, less it was the last action he wanted to perform. The concoremech retained his composer as best he could.

Ground level PSR

Silverstrike approached Turbulence, he looked like something from the pitt warmed over. He was decorated with severe burns accompanied by equally nasty dents and slashes in his armor. She could see the war torn surface of the ground behind him through the hole in his chest, the obvious work of a high beam laser. Her optics narrowed, Friendly fire my aft. His face was reminiscent of some super hero’s nemesis or an imitation of the phantom. His battered partial missing helm and battered frontal looked up at her. Ice blue optics shifted to see the respectable sized shrapnel that had pierced his calf. They would interfere with his movement and would need to be removed in order to extract him.

He spoke, his vocalize traumatized, sounding grated and strained as he attempted to explain his crash landing. All the while she listened she eyed the sporadic spark of energy and the slow drip of fluids leaking his life away. Torment attempted to stand, the mech staggered against the debris. Silver reached to catch him with a very un-machine like facile movement. Her bimetal bonded frame lending her an innate flexibility not seen in other seekers. She grabbed him holding his body up, sword in his hand. She could see the pain through his movements. Steadying him she stepped back.

“No, I’m afraid He’s still in the air and beyond our reach now.”

She looked down at his leg again.

“Hold still for a moment, I’m going to remove the shrapnel from your leg and temporarily fuse your leaks shut, and perhaps attempt to close off your live wires.”

She pulled out her energy sword and activated it with a welcoming hum. The blade was pure white hot energy the color of sapphire.

“Sorry to say I’m no real medic and this will only be good enough to keep you alive till we get you back. I’ve picked up some skills from assisting in Thunderwing’s labs but nothing substantial. Just basics.”

Carefully she pulled free the tainted metal in his leg with her free hand. Then she proceeded to seal the leaking lines. His fluids hissed and sizzled as the tip of her blade touched the ends melting them shut. Her face was set in concentration as she twisted the blue mech’s exposed wires together and tucked them back in place her delicate fingers working lightly and with simple dexterity. She lifted her head to look into his optics. She wondered what he would say when it registered in his cranial circuits that she had helped him just for the sake of helping him. Without looking she deactivated her sword and placed in into its holder. She stood up, her icy optics scanned the surrounding debris for their location. But for some reason she could not get a fix on their location or direction.

It could have been some type of Autobot interference or maybe it was just silver herself. Her trauma had been getting worse and she had not used a CR chamber in some time, she just did not want to face the nightmares again. She looked again at Turbulence, perhaps it was time Silverstrike returned to Tyrest.

Silver looked up to the sky, both Rapture and Quantum had acknowledged her but had not told her if anyone would assist. Stepping closer to Turbulence she spoke her tone soft.

“Come on lets start walking back. And don’t worry I’m not as delicate as I look.”

If he stumbled she would catch him. Hopefully someone back at Polyhex could repair him. She silently wondered if Ramjet was even aware of what he had done, she was sure he wouldn’t really care.

En route to Shockwave's Tower

Dirge had turned around and headed back towards Shockwave's Tower after firing couple of shots at the retreating Omega Sentinel far before the PSR. Chasing off a foe he couldn't even heart didn't exactly find its way very high on the list of things the morose Decepticon was interested about. It didn't stop him from letting Ramjet and Thrust to let off some steam.

Which is exactly why he missed Turbulance's suicide attack and Ramjet's own stunt which endangered the other seeker. However he did not miss the following transmissions regarding a seeker going down. Being that the issue was already being handled he gave it little attention and continued on his path towards Shockwave's Tower.

The sudden end to Onslaught's transmission did grab his attention though. Changing his flight course, Dirge turned again and began looking for the area where the Combaticon had last been on his radar to find only rubble and... Swindle. Transforming and landing next to the somewhat smaller Decepticon, Dirge gave Swindle a grim look.

As he was about to ask what exactly happened here, from the munitations expert, Cyclonus arrived with a crew of Sweeps that began remove the rubble. Not wanting to just give an impression of just loitering around to the new air commander, Dirge joined the effort of unburying Onslaught. After all, he didn't have any other specific orders to follow at the very moment.
