Maybe what the song was meant to be was "about the best in people". What it actually is, however, is an ode to Optimus Superpants.

I like the song though, so do many others as its a part of their childhood and as cheesy as it is it makes some of us feel better when we hear it. So watch your step if you are going to bash it because you could have a big flame war on your hands if you do.

At what point did I bash the song? I love that song! I love that it's a fanboy's homage to the sheer levels of awesomeness that is Optimus Prime and his giant metal hands!
And you know what? I love Dare too. I love that it's the quintessential Hot Rod song. But hey, if you're really keen on having a big ol' flame war I'm sure I could at least pretend I don't like it?
