Also the man with the wrong answers. Dual tactics work fine if you have XP asigned, just not as iften as you'd like. Ram/avoid, ram/strafe, strafe/avoid: all good combinations at any level...
I'm so meta, even this acronym...

Okay so ram combined with strafe works fine or avoid with strafe
Hmmm but how to you combine the supporting stats for both tactics the best, on low levels that's hard on higher levels lesser

Alldarker is special, he wants to divide by zero, and still believes in the super secret autobot altmode.
You CAN run dual tactics at lower levels, but, if you want to do well, you want to run as single tactic, at 0 or 1, avoid is best. Once you start climbing the ranks at level 1, ram becomes a better tactic. You should not go up to level 2 as a dual tactic. If you do, you're asking to get beat bad. Once you get to level 2, avoid/ram becomes a really good set of tactics to run.
Strafe becomes more effective later on, because it takes a bit more upgrades to support, though not as bad as repair.
Strafe/Ram shouldn't be used until you're a much higher level, since you're splitting your upgrades between two offensive tactics, and making both of those tactics weaker.

Sure, once you reach level 6+
Avoid/whatever works better at lower levels because of the 50xp avoid bonus.

ram+strafe is the only dual tactic that doesnt work (very well) until at least 5th level. hell, i still feel its kind of a waste on my level 7.

It's because it's the most expensive build. It combines the most expensive single tactic with a moderately expensive tactic.
