I didn't notice it at first, but you're right. Though I'd argue that it still looks better than MP09's.

My critiques are:
-Seriously? Plastic tires?
-Show me the back of those fins. I need to see how awful it looks.
-Winnebago looks like it can fit with MP's, but not the bot mode....

I dunno, for MP09's flaws, and there are many, I never considered a protruding backpack one of them.

But to be fair to Carry, MP09 had the benefit of a trailer to make the Winnebago mode happen.

I'm split on this. I wasn't gonna get it originally, but now I might. I like the vehicle mode better than the robot mode. In robot mode, his torso is too long and flat. He has no bulk whatsoever. The spoiler on the back is way too big, but I can forgive that considering it becomes part of the trailer. In vehicle mode, my only complaint is the yellow spoiler doesn't show like it did in the G1 version. And yeah, plastic tires? Seriously? And how about a shot from the back?

He's nice and all, but he's no MP, and showing him with KO MP-10 in bot mode and Faith Leader in alt mode raises more questions than it answers.

He looks good but this just isn't for me. It doesn't work for my MP collection & im not attached to Rodimus enough to buy a stand alone piece. I would be interested in buying the Targermaster separate though..

Quality meme. They've done this all along, even with the test shots, my guess is that the all in one transformation results in rather compact Winnebago mode, I doubt this will look good with the likes of MP-10 and MP-22 in alt mode.

I feel he needs to be slightly taller. Just slightly. But the KO MP10s are a little bigger than the regular MP-10 right? (since it's a copy of the mold by forming over the existing parts) So maybe he IS in scale in bot mode with Optimus? Maybe? And I really thought he was gonna have rubber tires, all of the pre-production models where just the wheel without tires so that's kind of shocking. The Spaceabago should be bigger but I think it's pretty cool they were able to get it all folded up and put together. Maybe I will have to get XTB Scourge and Cyclonus to be foils to Carry...so much money..gah..

Yeah KO MP-10 is slightly taller than MP-10, by about half an inch if I remember rightly. He'll scale just fine in bot mode with other MP's which to be fair is how most will have him displayed 99% of the time. But in alt mode I'm not so sure, I don't think it's a coincidence that the only figure he's been displayed with in alt mode is Faith Leader.

I stopped following this thread after I saw that originally, then I got interested again when the color test shots came out...and I am still not interested.

The head/face sculpt is also very IDW Ironhide to me...

Whelp. I'll admit that I don't hate that back fin, actually it looks pretty cool.

However what I CAN'T get over are those plastic tires. Ugh.

Well it looks like I'll be taking a pass on this, the back is just too off. This is basically a bigger version of the Titanium Rodimus with a few mods. I was looking forward to a full-size Rodimus that incorporates the trailer, but unless the price on this is VERY enticing, it will be a pass, as it will be kept in vehicle mode.

Was it just me or did you think we were getting rubber tires too based on the prototype images? I really thought the wheels were MISSING tires because they'd be rubber. Seems like a big miss if they aren't. Overall I still like him, and I got Apollyon so why not Carry

SJK & Sir Lube: I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought there was more than meets the eye with those prototypes. I find the lack of rubber tires disturbing.

Looks like they did a fantastic job with Rodimus Prime...

I however never liked Rodimus Prime. Hot Rod was my preferred form and he's just a bit too big to fill that slot

Love the engineering to incorporate the trailer... but just not for me.
