The thing is regular X-Brawn/Wildride didn't have a gold chrome engine, it was silver(-ish). I think this was a test concept on how the figure would look with a visible engine through the hood. This probably gave way to the "super" figure having a gold engine and the exclusive clear variant that Takara sold at events.
