Like you guys, I love the robot mode, but I'm hoping the alt mode pictured there is just a really bad mis-transformation.

AS one would imagine the alt mode we see is less than spectacular, but at least the robot mode is cool.

Maybe since the seller STOLE this version of Blitzwing, they had to build a new one from scratch...

Just from looking at this toy, it looks more like a FAB than a regular deluxe. Maybe they will go the route of Bulkhead and make a Leader size toy for Blitzwing that actually looks like something.

I am on record to say that the next BOTCON set for 2009 will be awesome if they are going to be neh going to be using these Animated moulds for the basis of the box set release. I'LL BE THERE FOR SURE!

Terrific bot mode. Jet mode looks more like a jet/tank hybrid than a jet mode with kibble. Too bad Blitzwing didn't get a Voyager toy, since the Deluxe strikes me as just too small for the degree of complexity required to pull off all modes. Still, he'll take a proud place with the rest of my Animated collection once they're out in stores.

He looks mistransformed to me. I seriously doubt the treads would just end up positioned that blatantly under the plane.
I'm sure there's something more there. They probably fold up under the wings or something.

The robot mode looks pretty good. I'd like to to see the tank mode soon.

So far I will buy it just because I'm a big fan of Blitzy.

But yeah I'll hold off the final judgment until I see the full tank mode and I am sure that's not the finished jet mode

I'm anxious now to see if there are any other gimmicks. I want those guns on his robot mode back to flip forward like in the cartoon. I then want fire and ice colored projectiles to put in them.

I definately, carefully, will paint in some more black detail on at least the ice face.

I can't wait to see what the properly transformed alt modes will look like.

Unless what we see in that auction is a fourth alt mode that the crazy face changes in to. :roll:

I'm still in high hopes for this. Most eBay toys have been mistransformed, and I'm sure that with the instructions, it will form a more show accurate jet mode.

blitzwing is supposed to have the treads under the jet if you haven't watched the show at all.

i really wish they would start making triple changers voyager class.

Excelent robot mode. The jet mode, however, being so short and stumpy and having such obvious landing gear, reminds me more of a different cartoon character...

the robot mode looks a lot better than I was expecting. I was really worried about how the head would work. I was really afraid it would be humongous to allow the face changing mechanism and after the profile picks I was hesitant about his helmet shape but they did a marvelous sculpting job. Not only that but I really like how the head transforms for jet mode. Judging from the alt mode shown the tank mode should also be pretty cool. My only real grip about the robot mode is his pouches... they need to be bigger... way bigger... I want it to look like Rob Liefeld drew them. The faces could also use some paint, some little outlines would help a lot (a black wash would really help bring out the details and some white for his angry face which looks like it has teeth but do to bad coloring you can't see them...)

I really doubt this blity is a deluxe. So far the only voyagers have really had "action" gimmicks and springs. His cannons look way too large to not fire a projectile...

As for his jet mode, I'm not going to sweat it just yet... I figured it was going to be a tad bulky (both animated and his concept art draw him as such) but the seller looks to have really mistransformed the figure. There are several parts which look misalligned (his shoulders should snap into his wings, his tail wings can lower more.) His concept art also shows his treads resting flat against his plane body. If anything, what were seeing is his "landing mode." (His tank treads actually do appear on his jet body in animated... rewatch when he scans the jets... all the jets have "tank treads" on them :shock:

if the figure doesnt lookg in robot mode doesnt mean its the answer is mistransformed all the time could be just how he looks need to keep in mind these are basic figures nothing complex looking like moviefigures, energon, or master piece figures robots are basic loking in the show so the figures them selves are going to be basic looking in vehical mode, and in robot mode even though they may look mistransformed they really are not.

good figure paint is little dull it is childs show and the transformations are very basic lokoing even basic looking in robot mode & vehical mode.

He really does look alot like the concept sketch that we saw last year. His jet mode was stubby and you could see the treads. It looks like the nose of the plane hasn't been pulled down the whole way and the backend is tilting down. The colors don't grab me though, they seem very muted.

The bot mode still looks great though.

I see. The top of the jet is totally crooked. It gets pulled straight, the tank guns might get pulled straight to be at the back of the jet. With everything straight and locked into place, the treads might get folded or pulled back to balance it out more. I think it will look a lot better properly transformed.
