I was hours away from ordering a C8 G1 Metroplex from Transformerland.com...and now THIS. The encore line is single-handedly giving me all the G1 TFs I've never had the chance to buy before!
Preordered tonight!
That's where I bought mine. The ones in stock now are technically a higher grade than the one I bought.
Also, here's a point of speculation -
Will the reissue have rubber tires and chrome or just plastic?
Chrome and rubber.
Takara has not once skimped out on a reissue with the cheaper arangement.
Kup had metal feet, Predaking was metal, etc.

But realistically, i smell a Prowl coming up.

Flux Convoy wrote:Impressive. I'm curious what the extra touches for these Encores will be. From #5 on there've been extras of sorts. Ironhide and ratchet had their "heads", Sky Lynx has painted eyes on the Lynx and grey mouth gun for the "bird". Jazz/Meister is tampoed, not stickered. I'm dying to know what treatment these will get. I already have a great vintage Chrome hips/rubber wheels Metroplex who needs Reprolabels but I'll take a reissue in a heartbeat. Same goes for replacing my Hasbro reissue TC and SW.

Either way, I can't wait. I LOVE city-bots, and Metroplex is no exception. He'll look great with my Scramble City figures (at least definitely with my original Hot Spot and Motormaster, not sure how great the KO Onslaught and Silverbolt'll look next to him). I'm glad I didn't get the KO, I don't know if I could live with myself if I got a KO of a big figure like this, whether he'd be reissued or not. I don't mind the Scramble City combiners being KO'd, but Scramble City itself, no good.
So anyway. Encore has not yet been a disappointment!
(Also, I GUESS Thundercracker and Skywarp are good, too )
