FansProject has just released a teaser of their 2011 Spring season figures, Causality, which looks to be a repaint of, passed figures, Munitioner and Explorer represented as CA-01 and CA-02. Sillohettes of CA-3, 4, and 5 are also included which look to be new FP originals.

This looks very promising. I passed on Crossfire, having passed on Bruticus, but I may well have to get a Combiner fully made by FP.
And, as far as I can tell, it doesn't appear to be based on an existing combiner team.

Seibertron member Frostic_Prime has informed us that the 3rd party toy maker - FansProject has updated their website with the teaser of upcoming product.
From the teaser, it is confirmed that this figure will be a 5-member team combiner. However, it is not clear who this combiner paying homage to. 2 of the members revealed are basically the repaint version of Munitioner and Explorer.

Complete and utter speculation on my part, but purely based on the colour scheme, is nobody else thinking of Battle Gaia?
"Warcry" looks an awful lot like Leyland to me and "Flameblast" bears more than a passing resemblance to Shuttle Gunner.
Just a thought mind you....

Yes, yes as I'm reading these new posts, it could be any of these suggestions. However, none of the other FansProject releases were given this "side story" moniker... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say all original characters and backstory for Causailty (hopefully a new faction of transforming race altogether). Its no gimme that these combine (at least not exclusively with each other) by the way; notice the remould on CA-01 knees...
I would sell these as Basic class figures to keep costs down (around the $20 mark) then sell an add on (connection joints with super articulation) to mix and match scramble city combiners style. Your collection will never get old no matter how long the Causailty line lasts! I digress into pure speculation - but throwing ideas out there to the "For Fans By Fans" toy company...

definitely get an Insecticon vibe from CA-04 (a praying mantis in particular, from the back kibble), and even from CA-03, what with his claws. Looking at 05's left ankle (on our right) it looks like a tail-rotor for a helicopter. Really, I have no idea who these guys could be, if in fact they're based on any existing characters.
unless...random wild guess here...BW Predacons homages? Warcry has a bit of Terrorsaur and Inferno in his coloration. 3 and 4 could be Scorponok and Waspinator. The other 2 have me kind of stumped there of course, but it makes as much sense to me as anything.

I'm gonna be the first to say that I don't care for these new recolors. I already got the two expencive scout class figures, I'm not really down for more even if they're in shiny new colors.
Maybe I'll change my mind when they reveal their blacked out figures. I have no idea what they might be. Insecticons would be nice, but wouldn't fit the theme.
