Agreed. And the alt modes are not very Dino like. I realize they go into Pretender shells, but...
I don't know if I can get behind this one. I have a decent stand-in for Dinoking (just missing an Ankylosaurus) so I could finally pass on a FP project....

Nope, they aren't dino's at all. That's the entire gimmick. I'd stick with the Monstructor version if you aren't into the whole pretender shell idea.
I was expecting the price to be about $10 cheaper but I'm not sure about the scale either. Maybe the added $10 on the limbs covers combiner kibble since their isn't a larger torso bot to handle it all like Diesel. I wonder how much the pretender shells will cost & how long we have to wait to get them to go along with their inner bots?

I'm glad I can pass on these for now since they have basically confirmed a Monstructor repaint. Really looking forward to these guys in Monstructor colors as I have no connection to Dinoking and all research I've done on the characters leaves me with a Rocksteady and Bebop henchmen kinda feel. Still a little disappointed with the pretender shell gimmick, but being that was the weakest gimmick associated with them I can live without it.

I preordered but im so tempted to cancel and wait for the monstructor repaint. The question is will it be one of those fp core releases that take forever to come out ? The longer they take to make sixknight available the less I care about buying it.

You'll likely still pay a bit for shipping from FPCore, because they use a 3rd Party service (ha ha) which ups the total price of shipping and handling. I went through ToyDojo.com, they still have the Brainstorm and Chromedome repaints available for preorder and are supposed to be available at end of month. I know you like some FREE shipping!!! But Knight seems to be sold out at the moment.

I was already sold on this mold minus the Dinoking color scheme, but this does look a bit cleaner than the original photos which is a load off my mind.
