All i can say is I can't wit to get this one. It's sitting in my POL waiting for the Tanker set and Soundwave, along with a few other goodies. Trying to be patient, but after seeing the video, I don't think I can hold out much longer....... :BANG_HEAD:

It's even better than I hoped. Is it perfect? No. However, it seems that FansProject is trying to keep up with the times and the economy. Yeah, he's kinda smallish, yeah he's not as articulated as he could be, and it's true that his transformation is simplistic by FansProject standards... But as a Transformer goes? As a toy goes? EXCELLENT. Even FP's people must be impressed with it. They released it.

It's not perfect but i think it's a great Classics figure. Wouldn't get any better from Hasbro that's for sure.
I'm a Chromedome fan and love his colour scheme. FP did a fine job on this. Simple and too the point. My only gripe that really prevented me from getting this fig is the lack of rocker swivel on the feet. If those feet could swivel flat at the ankle on wide stances then i would be GUSHING over this release. But for that reason it totally killed it for me on this fig.

Still good. Still worth buying but i just can't because of that one aesthetic issue. I would never be able too unsee that design "flaw" and it would drive me nuts.

Looks like weird wolf might be next!!! Really pleased with this figure hope the rest of the function x figures are on this level or better.I just hope they make some horrorcons down the line!

Mine came in yesterday. I cannot stress enough how good this figure is and how much you're missing out. He has issues, the shoulders, for example, so he's not perfect, but he is good. Well worth the money.

My vote is to rename this thread by adding in "- Code", and then starting a new thread whenever we start discussing another figure in the line. The majority of this thread has been about Code, so it seems like a good choice.

I still haven't shipped my POL yet, so I probably won't have Code in-hand until mid-January. Looking at various reviews (including TJ's), I don't think I'll be disappointed.

Just been browsing Chimungmung.com and saw the mark up on this just released figure, Tony wants $120 before shipping costs are added! Jeebus! :shock:
Shipped to the U.K. would put him around the £90/£95 mark! For a Deluxe!

Am I right in saying this was at $50 with a $20 donation via the seller plus whatever on to for shipping?

So...the thread should be re-named Fansproject Function X: Code. Then the next one will be named for the next FP Function X....NotFangry, if I remember correctly? I like this! :)

I came back from vacation yesterday and opened up Code. I wasn't terribly impressed initially. I might have to get a reprolabels sheet if it comes with headlights. That said, as I have fiddled with him, I'm liking Code more and more. This is by far the most fun I've had transforming a FP toy. Defender was too complicated to be enjoyable in the transformation. Assaulter is pretty nice in the transformation, but Code is better. Bruticus, Superion, Rodimus, and Magnus were all add-ons that were fun, but were parts-formers. (Not to mention that I eventually broke Bruticus's head antennae.) If all the Function X series is this fun, I'll be very happy!

mine arrived today. pretty awesome. review's pointed out to me how he's not perfect, so was prepared, bloody nice even with some flaws. bring on the rest, I say!

I got mine yesterday as well. While I'm not keen on some of the thinner plastic used, this is a still a very well-designed figure - so much he's now one of favorite toys. My wife absolutely found the headmaster gimmick adorable.

And while I appreciate the ability to peg the little dude into the car, it reminds me of the phrase "sit on it!" :lol:
