so looking forward to this when is it being released says october now lol the bat mode is somewhat off but its still looks good to me anyway lol

by looks of things the legs looks as if it flatpacks for the back of the bat mode if so that is so genius

I Dropped my preorders for this. decided this doesn't look enough like Mindwipe. Maybe I'll pick it up again once reviews comes out good. (which it probably will)

I was thinking about doing the same, but to the extent that I have X1, X2 & X3, and knowing that I'm going to get X5, my slightly OCD brain would go nuts trying to figure out where X4 is.

Well I sold X1 twice... so I tried to collect the whole line but I just couldn't stand code as IDW Chromedome so since I don't have X1 anymore anyway it is easier for me to not get this. Also thinking of selling X2 and X3 but Smart robin is really nice still . Even though the new generations one has more IDW inspired. What I'm really waiting for is the new Headmasters teased at TFcon. (Hardhead, Highbrow!!) and the decepticons ones too! Those are looking real nice.

I like the bat mode. Im just not so keen on the robot mode. Whaat I hate the most is the bat ears on the robot head. I felt it was going a bit too far. But then again, all the Function X robot heads kind of suck. I wish at some point they would do a giftset of heads for those of us who want a bit more G1 accuracy.

I have no real knowledge of Mindwipe, but that is a cool looking toy. Love those wings.

Just for mold-milking, how about doing him up in colours homaging Beast Machines Nightscream with a slightly different head? I've only watched 4 episodes of BM and from what I'm aware Nighscream is a bit of a dick, but I do have his original toy and ridiculous oversized...ness aside, he's pretty fun. And that headsculpt is just hilarious with the forelock and the "Wha? Why am I so big?" face.

I see why people think it's a Crucifix, but it's not. Mindwipe's pilot sites in a cockpit made out of a coffin, that's in keeping with the vampire motif, plus coffins of that time did have crosses on them. Plus in some vampire lore, crosses were placed on the coffins to keep the vampires in their coffins.

It's just a really neat and thoughtful nod to the lore.

A giftset of extra heads is a cool idea.
