Well then I got some bad news for you. They've changed their estimated arrival date to August 20th (today)

The best part is that G3 can tow the Commander trailer like God Bomber can tow Apex Armor. It's really beautiful...

Yeah and it makes me regret not having the space for it at this time even more. Gah! Wait...I could buy it and just put it in storage...

Probably better than paying for it later if you decide you want it. I expect this to be going for $350-$400 by this time next year.

Most likely, although I'm willing to bet we'll see it in by wednesday

On the repair mech/combat artillery deck component, I like how by simply extending it, you activate a mechanism which transforms it from the get go into an offensive form. You also have a blast shield of sorts similar to Rodimus Prime's blast shields.
Connecting to the CC/DIA Commander trailer is also quite amazing, a collapsible connecter underneath can be extended to impliment this mode so no kibble.
And taking a nod at the THS-02, the rear ramp is extendable when you fold it out.
The "stealth mode" or something similar to GITS Motoko Kusanagi's camo optic skin, MGS stealth uniform or as seen in GI Joe:ROC, in a more reality base explanation, the trailer does not disappear into subspace but merely falls behind and hides. I did not remove the extra plastic covering on the gimmick so as to avoid any smudging from my grimmy fingers.
If this is what FP does on Convoy's trailer, I sudder to think what they have in store for the Protector upgrade.

Dang it, now I have got to order the trailer. I cannot resist its lure.
skywarp-2 wrote:combined with the TFCON Powered commander Armor I have, this set will look brilliant!! I may not keep it MISB for too long, but I like how they put that option there.. that whole mirrored Hiding mode makes so much sense.. it is such a cool thing to make this trailer much more distinct and sought after.. to actually give a functional explanation as to why Optimus Prime's trailer disappears in the cartoons.. it is just pure genius!!
plus in some cases your Prime can use the trailer to fight enemies, like in the original TV show where Optimus Prime fired off a round at Megatron..it was pretty cool..
convotron, this is THE trailer to end all trailers.. if only they made one for the Masterpiece...oh well.. Henkei/Classics are the New G-1!!
skywarp-2 wrote:what my favorite thing about this set is also that you can place your prime toy in the plastic package with the trailer to simulate the old school G-1 Optimus Prime..it is like they took MISB collectors in consideration..

Except if you're a MISB collector, your Prime is still...MISB. And if you get a loose one to put in the trailer package it'll no longer be...MISB. Oh, the irony! But still a pretty cool feature.
Kibble wrote:Makes me both regretful and glad I inexplicably skipped buying classics Prime. Regretful because this thing looks and sounds cool, but glad that I have no reason to drop another friggin' hundo. It really escapes me, though, why I didn't just dish out the lousy $20 on Prime when I had multiple chances to do so. Don't even think I yet had Magnus when I was passing on him.
**edit: I take it back, I remember why I didn't get him now. It was early in my return to collecting and I wasn't much impressed with any of the other classics figs I had gotten to that point. I believe I had Jetfire, Ramjet, and Grimlock at that point and their transformations weren't all that complex or exciting which was the biggest reason I started buying TFs again, and at the time in my collecting I didn't feel the draw of certain "staples" to a collection. And of course now that I know a little better I can't just get him for an easy $20. I should probably look to pick him up loose on eBay for a reasonable price if still possible, though. But then I might buy the friggin' trailer...
skywarp-2 wrote:yeah when I was doing my collecting early on when these first showed up, I passed on them, then I saw the light after I began to explore the coolness that is the cybertron/Galaxy force universe.. but here is the plan Kibble.. to save on your wallet..
